Overview
My name is Steven McGillicuddy and I would love to be the bagpiper you hire for your next event. I am currently a competitive piper and served as the Pipe Major for the Jupiter Police Department police during my law enforcement career.
I am classically trained by Pipe Major Scott Methven, of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Scott was the Sovereign’s piper, or personal piper, to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. I am honored to be a continuation of his musical legacy. I am available for weddings, funerals and anything in between. I will work with you to make your event truly special!

Officer McGillicuddy was accomodating and his performance as he marched our graduates and faculty in was breathtaking. He truly made our graduation beautiful and momentous for our Nursing and EMS programs as well as faculty and staff. We will most definitely be using him at future graduations

What to Expect
When you hire me you can be rest assured that you are getting a completely turn-key bagpiper experience. I am punctual and have a variety of outfits that I can wear, from casual kilt dress all the way to a fully formal “Number 1” pipers outfit with a tradition feather bonnet made of Ostrich feather. I will work with you ahead of time on details to make sure that when I show up to your venue you will have no stress!

My name is Steven McGillicuddy. I am currently a husband, father and full-time police officer. I joined here in order to spread my passion for bagpipe music. I am originally from Florida but have spent time living in Virginia, Maine and England. I hold both a B.S. and M.S. in Criminology. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing tennis and, of course, bagpiping!
