McKinney Gap is a talented and diverse group of singers, songwriters, and bluegrass musicians from NC, who all grew up with a love for bluegrass music and who have been performing together for over 25 years. These accomplished artists have performed all over the Carolinas and beyond, sharing the stage with bluegrass super-stars such as Earl Scruggs, Steep Canyon Rangers, Seldom Scene and Del McCoury just to name a few! With hundreds of songs in their repertoire, they incorporate many styles of music including folk, rock, ballads and jazz but their heart is in traditional hard-driving, toe-tapping bluegrass. You will love their cover songs as well as their many originals.
