I hired Maria to dance at a Hispanic Heritage assembly that my school held a few weeks ago. Maria was among 10 different performers. I can honestly say that she stole the show. She danced with a partner and I had never heard over 400 screaming kids. The energy was awesome. After she performed, she took a few students on stage and did a dance with them. I liked how she interacted with the kids. The students responded very well. After the show, many of the students approached Maria for pictures and hugs. Not only is she a terrific dancer, she is a great person . She is a top professional with a warm and inviting personality. Everyone enjoyed the performance but I really enjoyed how she interacted with the students . She made the students feel as if they were also professional dancers. These emotions in children are priceless. I will definitely hire her again.

Maria Diaz is the founder, owner and creative director for MD Dance. Having been part of the only Colombian Salsa style company on all of the West Coast, she is the pioneer of Colombian salsa on the west coast. The movement she began with her co-directors showcase this specific style of dance known for its high energy intricate footwork and acrobatics, as seen in JLo's Superbowl performance. Her company is known for crossing all ethnic, age and gender boundaries through the teaching and performing of Latin dance forms including salsa/mambo/cuban, bachata, samba, folklore, modern, urban and of course her specialty, Salsa Caleña (Colombian Salsa Style). MD Dance offers multiple different styles of entertainment and we recently performed and collaborated with the choreographers for Disney's ENCANTO at the Hollywood Bowl, now available on Disney Plus. Our team is comprised of choreographers, dance instructors, and professional dancers who like to explore, learn and showcase their talents in different countries. Our dancers have competed, performed and taught in several countries such as Colombia, United States, Brazil, India, Argentina, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru, and throughout Europe.
