Countrypolitan keyboard Country music artist. A vaudevillian meets folk flair.
We very much enjoyed having Meade play our holiday cocktail party! He was on time, friendly, and very professional. He even dressed the part! I would certainly recommend him to others.
Response from Meade Skelton:
Thank you so much! It was a beautiful piano and I had a lot of fun myself.

I can play solo or with a fuller band. I use keyboard and some backing tracks. They can expect many of my original songs- including Hipsters Ruin Everything, Sweet Tea, and King of the Cowboys. Covers by Al Jolson, Patsy Cline, and Hank Williams Sr, as well. I try to keep the show upbeat and use some witty banter when necessary- but mainly its all about the songs. The songs are the star of the show- and my keyboard , Bessie, she likes to be front and center. I also do some yodeling- which audiences seem to enjoy as well !
Howdy! I am a Singer/Songwriter from Richmond, Virginia. I have been singing and playing piano since I was just out of diapers. With my keyboard Bessie, I have been touring all around at many venues far and near- with my "Coffee Shop Country" style sound. I switch from simple love ballads, to a jazzy swing and rollicking keyboard riffs- according to music critic Pete Humes. Ned Hepburn called me "Coffeehop Country" - and that is probably because I play at many coffee shops- with a keyboard and it fits into a more intimate style. My music has upbeat in it, but its definitely more for listening audiences. I love variety- its the spice of life. I have played at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, as well as America's Cup of Polo near Washington, D.C. My songs are inspired by food, lost love, southern themes, and hope for tomorrow. Other instruments include autoharp, guitar, and kazoo.
I need an electrical outlet. A PA system that is very high caliber would be appreciated in larger settings. But my amp and keyboard set up is very powerful for average to slightly larger rooms. I don't really need anything special- also maybe a glass of water and a sweat mop.
