We hired Joshua to film our second line parade after our wedding, and he was fantastic. He was responsive, showed up on time, got some great shots, edited the footage according to our wishes, and delivered us a video we have been thrilled to share with family and friends. Ever since meeting Joshua in 2019, he has become my go-to for almost anything artistically related. Literally one week after first learning he even existed, I desperately asked him if he could take last minute college graduation photos for me (and by last minute I mean morning of---I was literally already dressed in my cap and gown and ready to drive to the Arena). To my surprise, he showed up at my house with no hesitation and with a vision for how to make this last minute set-up look the best it possibly could. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but my jaws dropped when he sent me the final edits. He somehow managed to turn a very poorly planned photoshoot into beautiful visual memories my family and I will cherish forever.
BUT, that was just the beginning. After a few more conversations with him where he learned I was also an artist (spoken-word poet/author), he showed me just how wide his scope of talent extends. He ended up writing me a formal business plan AND actively worked to maintain our growing business relationship and hold me accountable. Any idea I had, I trusted him to help make it successful. Any photos or videos I needed, I trusted him to make them pop. Any social media slump I fell into, I trusted him to study my data and the trends to help increase my productivity and engagement.
It is now 3 years later and, here in 2022, Joshua still has my business and will continue to. It has been amazing not only working with him, but also getting to watch him grow---the skills he has, the services he offers, and the equipment he uses has only gotten better. I am currently writing my third book, and Joshua will definitely be handling my marketing once I get to that point. Hell, to be honest, he's the one who helped give me the idea for the book!
As you can probably gather from my long-winded review (lol), Joshua is WAY more than just a videographer or marketer. He has a genuine interest in his clients as individuals, and not only does that help make your project better, but it also opens the door for collaboration in other/future projects as well.
