Less than a month out from our wedding, we were informed that our church's organist would not be able to perform for our ceremony, so we were in dire need of a new organist. I found Megan's information through gig salad and promptly reached out about whether she would be able to travel to Erie and play for our ceremony. So messaged me back in no time at all and we began discussing what we needed and our song selection.
Trusting her, I left the music selection to her judgement and I could not be happier that I did. Our ceremony went flawlessly, all thanks to her incredible performance. Even after a slight delay from having to go find the ring bearer's pillow which lengthened our intro song, it went unnoticed because Meghan continued playing and it was incredible.
I could not recommend Meghan enough if you need a professional organist for any manner of events. Her professionalism and song selection absolutely made the event.

Megan Denman is a seasoned, versatile musician from Lakewood, Ohio. She earned her Master's in Piano Performance from the University of Akron and her Bachelor’s in Piano Performance from Baldwin-Wallace University. Her classical piano instructors include Dr. Robert Mayerovitch and Ms. Laura Silverman, and organ instructors Dr. Margaret Scharf and Ms. Barbara McGregor. Ms. Denman's studies in jazz piano inform all of her playing thanks to years of study with Rock Wehrmann and Ron Drotos.
Megan held the position of staff pianist at Baldwin-Wallace University, the University of Akron, Kent State University and Cleveland State University, where she learned a significant amount of musical repertoire and learned to play piano alongside all different types of instrumental soloists and singers. She is a member of the American Federation of Musicians Local 4 Union chapter in Cleveland, Ohio.
Megan currently teaches over 30 thriving piano students each week through her home-based, private lesson studio. She is a member of the Music Teacher National Association. Ms. Denman enjoys sharing her talents in many different solo and collaborative settings including weddings and cocktail hour events. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
I own a Casio Privia piano and high-quality Roland amp which I am happy to bring to your event at no extra charge.
For pianos and organs onsite, please confirm it to be in good tune and in working order before the event. The last thing anyone wants is an event to be ruined by an incapable instrument!
For events over 30 miles from my Lakewood, OH residence, I may charge an additional transportation fee.
