I booked David for my 50th birthday. He was such a hit. Folks were actually lining up for him! Originally booked him for 2 hours and he ended up staying for 5 hours. That will tell you how awesome he was. So happy he didn’t have another gig that night. I would definitely recommend David. Beyond talented!!!

David did a fantastic job at our birthday party last weekend! He came early to set up and was very nice and friendly with our guests. All of our guests (adults and kids) loved their caricature! It was definitely a hit!

David was amazing , he arrived on time and started his art work right away. He was literally the hit of the party, everyone kept asking me for David’s contact for their own upcoming party. David was so amazing that we had book an additional hour, he was so professional and amazing. I will definitely book David again and I highly recommend him for anyone’s party.

He did a superb job, tried to utilize every minute he was there and his work was amazing.

We had our baby milestone party and we asked Mejia for 3 hours and he was on time and he was very patient by painting for all 3.5 hours with out a break as the kids and families were so exited :-)
He had to stay for more than planned time but he did a great job till the end.

I recently hosted a birthday party for my 90 year old father. There were about 25 of us in total, ranging from a baby to a 95 year old. Most were adults and they enjoyed getting their caricatures done right along with the kids, who were very intrigued, and watched David at work, rather than run around the room or act bored. He is very engaging, and made our special event that much more memorable. He was patient and professional with us in person, as well as when doing a specially commissioned piece for the event. I sent David a digital photograph of my father with his siblings, which he did in caricature and then had copies made for party favors. He wasn't happen with the first set of copies, and he remade them at no additional cost. I know that you will be as pleased with him as I was, both personally and professionally.

My husband and I visited the Big Wow Comic Con 2014 in San Jose. David Mejia was present, and his natural pleasant demeanor towards his customers and especially the expertise of his art caught our attention instantly. He did our caricature flawlessly in minutes! We hired David to do caricatures at my husband's 40th birthday party. He followed up on all the details prior to the party and he arrived before the time we booked him in order to set up. He drew caricatures of adult couples, conversed with people while he was drawing, and was super helpful in hunting down guests for their turn while I was busy with my hostessing duties. It was a novel idea for an adult party and I would definitely use David again!
