What to Expect
Energy, joy, and connectedness - it's what this dance is all about! I will provide your guests with an unforgettable experience as I bring contemporary raqs sharqi to life with my delightful and dazzling shows. The shows themselves are all centered on the needs of your event and I am happy to help guide you!
Shows can consist of: one song, a 15-20 minute performance (most typical), floating at your event for an extended amount of time (with breaks, of course!), performing with a live band, and more. Typically, my shows consist of: an energetic entrance, songs to compliment skillful prop-work, a zesty drum solo, joy-filled crowd work, and more.
Performances are customized to enhance various venues, occasions, and celebrations. All shows are meant to be suitable and entertaining for ALL ages, even in venues that are 18+.

Additional Booking Notes
Music and Playlists:
Because music is so important in setting the atmosphere of your event, playlists need to be done at least 48 hours to the event. All requested songs must be sent in by this time, and if appropriate, they will be worked into the set list. Please, no change requests if within 24 hours of the event.
Sound system:
Client will provide a professional and loud sound system with iPod-connecting abilities. I can email my tracks/playlists prior to the event and am open to communicating with the DJ or musicians to ensure smooth sailing with my music. I will also have my playlists on my phone if need be, this requires an AUX jack.
Dancing area:
I am versatile, experienced, and accommodating. While I have danced in large ballrooms, packed restaurants, small and large stages, the dance area should be a safe and adequate space for me to render proper services. No matter the size, this means I require a floor or stage space that is free of broken glass, spilled liquids, or other hazardous objects. This also includes an environment that is free of harassment of a sexual nature or otherwise; guests are expected to abide by this etiquette as well.
