Melodias of Diana

International R&B Latin artist Diana Feria, Born in the Canary Island on December, 1984.

Daughter of a professional singer, and a talented father artist in many mediums. Diana and her brother Dan Silva grew up surrounded by music and creativity, and both will eventually become singers, songwriters and producers, often collaborating together. She began her love affair with music at a very early age, listening to icons such as Ruben Blades, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder or Donny Hathaway.

While growing up Diana left aside her beloved Latin Music roots, and started experimenting with funk, pop and R&B mid-tempo tracks, finding admiration in the 90’s RnB and Pop culture, Diana started writing her own music and recording covers to promote her skills on social media, while performing all over Spain, France and Morocco. This kaleidoscope of music influences and experiences, will later be reflected in Diana's work ( "a tropical sound that speaks all over the World and capture all the wonders, beauty and joy I’ve discovered through my travels” with lyrics that evoke empowerment , freedom and joy)

Diana’s voice and skills had opened many doors for her giving her the chance to work with certified producers of the category of Jorge Luis Chacin (Grammy Nominated Artist) Jon Secada, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Christopher Cross, Tionne Watkins (TBoz, TLC) and participate in movies such as Happy Feet 2 (Warner Spain), as well as work close together with Hip Hop artist Nach (Universal Records Spain).

Diana’s passion for creation matches with her ambition to become better everyday. Through her life she had extensive musicianship instruction, (Master's Degree in Jazz and Modern Music Vocals in ESMUC and 13 years of Classical piano in Spain), Diana also graduated from the Independent Artist Program and Encore Keyboards Program at Musicians Institute (Los Angeles) in 2014.

While developing her sound/style and writing/producing what she thinks can be the future of Latin/R&B/Pop music, Diana has toured as a keyboardist and background vocalist for HipHop/Reggae artist Sammy Wilk while working/performing aswel with different bands in Los Angeles and Miami.
