Live painting is perfect as diversion during a cocktail hour, as a calming spectacle to enhance an atmosphere of culture and refinement. It pairs well with music of all genres both live and recorded. The experience is defined by the desires of the event planner. I take into account the desired mood, the colors and content of the painting, the size of the canvas, the costume I would wear, and the duration of process, all in support of the event goal.

The process includes set up of my easel and dispensing of color onto the palette followed by layout and sketching directly onto the canvas followed by incremental layers of paint until the process is complete. This usually lasts from 2 to 4 hours with 15 minutes for cleanup.

Caricature and face painting follows a similar plan with setup, 4 hour max duration, followed by 15 minute cleanup. Each individual usually takes 5-15 minutes and walks away with a work of art.

I've lived on both coasts and a bit in the midwest. I speak French and have been practicing art since I was small. I studied art in college and have spent many years making comics, painting faces and murals, exhibiting and selling my paintings, and teaching art. My love of a lively atmosphere and people has led me to live painting as a way of communicating this passion to those in the mood to relax and be entertained. I paint faces as a way of bringing art into the spa mindset and I draw caricatures as a way of tapping into my psychic energies. Making art is more than a hobby or a career, it's a philosophy of love.

For live painting and face painting I prefer access to a sink but can bring water bottles if necessary.
