Mermaid Performances & Courses

Mermaid performances: Have a real life mermaid perform at your special event! Mermaids are available for dry model mermaiding or as pool and underwater performances. Mermaid specialty acts include diving to the bottom of tanks or aquariums to retrieve treasure, educational presentations about ocean conservation, and fire eating and performance for poolside performances.

Mermaid courses: Have your guests learn how to become mermaids and mermaids themselves! In our courses, attendees will learn how to safely don and remove mermaid tails, learn fun poses both above and underwater, and learn about bubble kisses and bubble rings! Photo and video packages are available upon request so your guests can take home memories of the day they learned how to be a mermaid!

Freediving courses: If you love mermaiding but want to level up your skills, consider taking a freediving course! Rachel is certified by Performance Freediving International (PFI) and Scuba Schools International (SSI) to take students up to 100 feet (30 meters) on one breath. Learn safety considerations to extended breath holds and gain a fun hobby that will help you explore "under the sea"!

Rachel Novak is a PFI and SSI freediving and mermaid instructor based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was named Fire Entertainer of the Year 2016, Miss Mermaid Nevada 2022, and Miss Sea Queen of Nevada 2023. Rachel is no stranger to the stage or the camera! She works as a professional mermaid and fire entertainer, was an official commentator for the Vertical Blue 2021 freediving competition in the Bahamas, and worked as a stunt performer on Marvel's Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, where she used her diving skills (both scuba and freediving) to perform underwater stunts. Most recently, she was invited to compete for season 15 of American Ninja Warrior.

Rachel is the owner and content creator for The Sailing Siren on YouTube, a freediving and travel vlog that highlights the freediving communities, sailing adventures, and unique freediving destinations around the world. She owns and manages the brand Aquanauts Freediving, which includes an athleisure clothing line for merfolk and freedivers, freediving and mermaid courses, and customized mermaid and fire performances. Rachel is a passionate advocate for freediving education and believes that those who care most about ocean conservation are those who spend time in the water. She is dedicated to helping others learn how to safely explore the underwater world on one breath.

We are excited that you are interested in booking a mermaid for your event! To keep the magic alive, we request a small room or changing area near to the performance area to transition from human to mermaid form and back! Once in mermaid form a mermaid handler will be available to transport our lovely mermaids to and from the performance areas.
