MerMan's Comedy and Illusion Shows

Easy, informative and smooth process from booking to event, we will only be using Merman from now on!! As an autism therapy center, our vendors are held to a very high standard for the safety and protection of our children and this team met and exceeded every expectation. The fast “face paint” and the balloon animals were such a hit and the team was so joyful and kind to every little face they saw. We will definitely use for events again!

Will definitely be hiring for additional services the company provides.

MerMan made our event so much fun. As we communicated and planned the event he worked within our budget and probably did more than what we paid him for. He was easy to work with and responsive. He was there early so I wasn't wondering if he'd show. He did exactly what we asked in a fun, humorous and engaging way. He was great to have around.

MerMan nailed it for our daughter’s ninth birthday party. He was professional and easily related to his audience. He communicated in a timely fashion, was on time and demonstrated a wonderful grasp of his craft. Recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing MerMan's Comedy and Illusion Show for my son's 9th birthday party, and I have to say, it was a great experience overall. MerMan was incredibly flexible and accommodating, which was much appreciated, as we had to move the show inside due to the weather. Despite the challenges of performing in a smaller space, MerMan was able to arrange the seating for nearly 30 kids in our living room, which was impressive.

The show itself lasted about an hour, and while the magic tricks were not the most mind-blowing, MerMan was able to keep all the kids focused and engaged for the entire hour. His sense of humor and comedic timing were definitely the highlights of the show, and he had the kids laughing and participating throughout. He also helped us out a bit with the party preparation, which was a nice touch.

The price of the show was a bit higher than what we had expected to pay, but overall, it was worth it for the level of entertainment and engagement that MerMan provided. If you're looking for a fun and interactive show for a kids' birthday party or other event, I would definitely recommend checking out MerMan's Comedy and Illusion Show.

Merman’s show was great! He was able to keep the children entertained and also the adults. Merman bought our 5 year old daughter on stage and her friends and she absolutely loved it!

We had the best 3rd birthday for my son and that is largely in part to merman! He was professional, on time, friendly with my friends and family, great with the children as well as the adults. He knew when to switch gears and go in a different direction to keep the young ones entertained. Seeing the smiles on the kids faces and the laughter in the room helped create memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

Merman is a true professional in every way! We hired him for our daughters Sweet 16 and he did not fail to impress. Arrived early, helped out in ways that weren't expected and calmed me down when things were going bonkers.

The show was awesome! He had the entire party playing along and laughing at each and everything he did. His show caterers to every age level and thats impressive. Keeping 16,17 and 18 year olds entertained is a challenge and Merman rose to the occasion.

Omg I am so happy I chose MerMan’s Comedy For My 50th Bday Celebration On May 1, 2021. The act was awesome. There was audience participation that was included and so much fun. He work with me on so many levels leading up to the celebration and I am so grateful. I 100% recommend MerMan’s comedy for any occasion large or small. I will definitely use him again in the future.

Merman kept the crowd engaged for an hour which is unusual with young kids. His humor was enjoyed by all ages - a lot of fun. Next time we will add the face painter!

My teen enjoyed having the Merman perform for his birthday at camp. Merman entertained 60 campers and staff. He worked with the shy ones (the birthday boy) and the willing. He handled the not so nice one like a master of the stage. The party favors were magic tricks--simple and fun. The staff and campers loved everything. The price was priceless.

James was great! He showed up early to make sure he was ready to go when the event started, and provided wonderful face painting and balloon services for the children in attendance. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is interested.

Our party had all ages from 2 to 60. The kids and adults were all entertained. We all loved it.

MerMan did an amazing job ensuring we had enough face painters for our events going on at two separate locations on the same day. We were very pleased with how smoothly everything ran! Highly suggest him.

MerMan performed an excellent show for our Assisted Living Facility on Wednesday, September 21st. I found and booked MerMan via the GigSalad website. Even though it was really short notice, and our budget was tight, MerMan was kind enough to agree to perform a show for us. If you have an opportunity to book MerMan, DO IT! Our residents absolutely loved the show! We all had a fabulous time between the magic/illusion act and Merman's humor! MerMan is so funny and we all literally 'laughed out loud' at his one-liners, puns, and jokes. One of the best parts of the show was when MerMan gave everyone Fortune Telling Fish! Our residents were (and still are) very amused by the Fish and are taking good care of them (per MerMan's instructions)! The only bad thing about MerMan's show is that time goes by so quickly! His act is concise, funny, and keeps you so mesmerized and engaged that you simply lose track of time! The hour flew fast and I wish I had booked a longer show! We certainly look forward to having MerMan come and perform again soon!

It is my goal and mission to provide the this population of people with entertainers whp are engaging, sympathic, enthusiastic, and just downright fun and Mr Merman knocked it out of the park!!! Professional, punatural, skilled, warm ,friendly and very kind!!!

Had Merman come to our Resort for a Pirate Evening. Very entertaining and lots of interaction with the kids and adults. Pet tarantula- a hairy experience! Fire eating amazing. Nice grab bag goodies especially the moving fish! Thanks for the great evening and we will have you back next year!
