MESHE BINO
Born Michelle A. McCoy, Meshe Bino is no stranger to entertainment. Her carreer began in 1992 where influenced by writers such as Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes she began writing short stories and poems. She believes her interests go back further than 1992 but became serious with her own writings in that year. Meshe has never been shy to an audience of people and honestly loved the acknowledgement and attention she recieved when she would read her poetry. She continued to write books and poems until influenced deeply by Tupac Shakur whom she credits for making her want to “Rap”. “I love alot of artist but no one made me wanna be heard except for him”. Her dream was to always work with with Tupac Shakur so she transformed her stories and poems into music imitaing his writing style only for format purposes. ” That’s how I learned what 16 bars were”.By the time Tupac released his album All Eyez On Me, Meshe was already considered a rapper where she dominated the radio station airways daily in open mic battles. Her rough voice and deep tones made it hard for people to ignore her although she stands five foot four and weights in at only 125 pounds.
From the years 1994 to 1997 she was a local favorite on 92Q where she would call in on Friday nights to battle any oncoming competiton. There literally was no one who could beat her and she continued until introduced to a recording studio atmosphere in 1998 after giving birth to her first child at the age of 16. Growing up in East Baltimore Meshe is also no stranger to heart ache and struggle. She mainly grew up in foster care due to both her parents being cocaine addicts she quickly grew up and learned to take care of herself and her two siblings. She is the middle child of two brothers and curently the oldest living child of her parents. Mainly influenced of course by music she would transcend her struggle and pain into her music. “That was my get away from every day life”. Her catalog consists of over 300 songs and counting, every one different and unique which displays mainly her versitility. ” I listen to all types of music, not just hip-hop, but that’s my main passion.” Throughout the years Meshe has worked with several artists and credits herself for starting some carreers but she’s very humble when it comes to acknowledgement so names are of no standing to her. ” Check the resume’ it speaks for itself”. By the time the year 2000 came Meshe was skilled in recording, writing, engineering, and production. Taught to engineer by Vaughn Mason, Meshe helped several producers after meeting them at open mic performances throughtout the city and the entire DelMarVa area. “I know alot of people but I stay to myself”. In 2002 Meshe began to shop herself to lables such as Shady records and Murder Inc. Although no deal came from her efforts she still continued to make music.
Meshe is an Owner and Artist of Real Recodnize Real Ent. Llc dba Triple R Ent. Llc. She is currently working on her debut album that is expected to release the Fall of 2014. Constantly working and always busy there no slowing down in her future and we can only wait and see where her efforts take her but as of right now she clearly states “I’m on my Grind to get out of the hood”. She never considered herself a rapper but an entertainer because her talents stem further than just music, she’s also writing screen plays, novels and is a very dedicated actress and an amazing performer. ” I’m that shorty Hova spoke of that’s writing rhymes on the cereal box and patiently waiting for my time to shine, so hold on world I’m coming as soon as someone gives me a chance to really be heard, they’ll never be disappointed, I’ll bet my life on it.”
