Messiah came to seattle to perform at a venue in downtown Seattle's hip artsy community. He opened for hip hop artist Lupe Fiasco, and was the highlight of the show! His creative play on words, thought provoking metaphors, and overall pressence had the audiences full attention. He spoke on everyday issues, real life situations in such a colorful way that left you wanting more. We would love to have him grace the stages of Seattle again in the near future.

Messiah came to work with us at Patterson Elementary School in Southeast Washington DC. He taught Spoken Word and the students loved the class! I was worried that my students wouldnt be excited to learn poetry, but Messiah had them engaged and eager to learn on day 1!By the end of the class the students were performing the poems they wrote with such confidence. Messiah did an excellent job with our scholars! The students were in grades 3-5.

The first time I heard Messiah, I experience true love for conscious thinking. Every word he spoke punched, kicked, and knocked a higher elevation of thinking for me. His words challenged me, to think pass what my eyes could see. I believe that everything comes in due timing, I was on a journey of transition, and his poetry was one of my pathways to newness. I was so intrigued by his talent I researched him, watched YouTube videos of his performances, and booked him for my college. I was so excited for others to be enlightened by his talent/wisdom. I could go on forever, but I won't so I will finish by saying, he is truly following his purpose. He is truly gifted, and many are blessed by his gift. I know I was!!
