Metrobeat has been performing in and around the Calgary Area for over 24 years! The band is a six piece cover party band with a diverse extensive repertoire ranging from the 1950s to current music and a mix of classic rock old time rock 'n roll country rhythm and blues just go and funk.
Metrobeat performs for a multitude of different events ranging from weddings special occasions corporate functions New Year's eve galas outdoor festivals and nightclub performances.
The band is fronted by lead guitarist and lead singer Sid Reisner and female lead singer Melody Badge.
Metrobeat delivers a dynamic stage performance along with four-part vocal harmonies enabling the band to cover a vast mix of music with keyboards guitars bass and drums.
The band has always maintained top-notch professional sound production which is led by our sound engineer Michael Bilkoski has a vast amount of experience including having worked with the Bon Jovi band and Bryan Adams as well as several other Canadian famous rock bands.
Generally with Metrobeat we require a stage size of 20 x 10’
We also require a table out in front of the band for a mixing position for our sound engineer
We require a minimum of two hours for sound check along with one hour for load in and one hour for load out at end of night .
Metrobeat prides itself in having quality sound production and we work with the best of sound engineers Michael Bilkoski also known as Bilko .
He has worked with the likes of Bon Jovi Bryan Adams journey and several Canadian rock acts.
He has been our sound engineer for metro beat for 19 years and continues to do so .
