Wendy, also known as 'Mezzi Rising', is a nomadic performing artist from Vancouver Island, Canada.
2010 was when Wendy first fell in love with hula hooping while watching a fellow artist at a music festival. She quickly became dedicated to sharing her passion for movement through the art of hoop dance and flow arts. This passion has been the driving force behind the professional performance career of Mezzi Rising since 2016.
Wendy is a teacher, international performer, and facilitator having shared her creative expression at weddings, festivals such as Bamboo Bass, Tall Tree Music Festival and private events across the Westcoast for over a decade.
‘Mezzi Rising’ guarantees to bring creative energy and engagement to her audience and is stoked to share her passion for performance with you.

I will provide my own costume unless requested to wear something specific.
