Micah Dobbins is the host of "The Micah Dobbins Show" featured on radio, television, and podcasting platforms, and author of "From Blaze to Glory", a testimonial book about his life. Micah Dobbins was born to a military family in Ft. McClellan Alabama and raised all over the U.S. until his family settled in Atlanta, Ga. in 1993. It was there that he began his journey as a battle rapper winning the 1999 Blaze Battle and being crowned Atlanta’s champion. He continued to battle for Blaze in Orlando and New York and was featured on BET’s comic view as an entertainer and HBO’s Blaze Battle Finals in 2000. In 2001 he was scheduled to tour in Germany but experienced life-changing events that caused him to walk away from a promising Hip Hop career to a life in ministry. After devoting his life to God he began to write stage plays for the church. From there he co-founded Psalms Of Praise Recordings where he began to write songs, and play guitar for Christian artists releasing six indie albums. Micah has also volunteered at the Safe House Outreach for the past 18 years, working with DFCS orphanages for the past 10 years. He is a licensed minister of the Church of God having received his credentials from Anderson Indiana and also has a B.S. degree from Full Sail University in Entertainment Business. He is the author of the book “From Blaze To Glory”, a testimonial about his life.
Aside from publishing his book, Micah has been the host of a Radio Show, Television Show, & Podcast. He is also a serial entrepreneur and business owner, and does consultations for many company owners. He has spoken in schools, churches, conventions, family reunions, and other functions.
