Aside from being an AMAZING singer, Michael was SO great to work with. He was very professional, punctual, and accommodating to the party space and environment. I hired Michael to play at my mom's 60th birthday party and he was so sweet and knew a great range of songs. He is an incredible guitarist and I can't wait to hire him again!!! Thanks so much Michael!!!!

Though I've only seen him through his streams I can tell you he is amazing. He can sing just about anything, and change up on the fly. He has a vast repertoire of music at his disposal. He is also a huge Disney fan so he is great for kids birthdays! Also does a mean Elmo impersonation!

What to Expect
What's most important is your event. Making your event a memorable one through music is the ultimate goal. You should expect a high level of professionalism and customer service. I am able to provide all my own gear, which includes a soundboard, mic, speakers, mic stands, etc. All I need is a place to set up and I'm good to go.

Michael Barnum is a singer/songwriter known worldwide for his daily live broadcasts on the streaming app, Periscope. Michael performs throughout Southern California and most recently headlined concerts at the Hotel Café, The Mint LA, Bar Lubitsch, and was a musical guest on LA 18 TV’s "Kababayan Today with G. Tongi." In 2016, Michael released his debut album "Trust," and his latest single, "Universe," is available now. Paired with meaningful and powerful lyrics, listeners are not only given a unique experience each time but taken on a journey.

Set List
Depending on your needs, I am able to do an all covers gig (not including my original compositions) or just my original music, or both. If there is a specific song needed for a particular event, I am more than happy to learn them, if I don't know them already.
Influences & Inspiration
If Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Sam Smith, and John Legend had a musical baby, you'd get me. I grew up in a household filled with music. My parents played everything from The Beatles to the Bee Gees to Michael Jackson to Justin Bieber (yes Bieber, I said it). In terms of genres that I play, I'm very versatile. I can do everything from Standards to Top 40.
