I start each client off with a tailored skin care experience as we exchange ideas and the mood board. I love when someone has a photo or look in mind that I can replicate or expand on. My favorite thing with makeup is skin, I mix and create hues and tones that balance and match everyone’s shade. Either full glam highlighting & contouring is requested or natural brontour & blush. I sculp the brows and begin the eye look with a cut to measure set of lashes. After the lips are applied I send each client off to their event with a jar of the product I used to touch up. Finally a setting mist that locks in the makeup is applied to ensure longevity. Photos of the makeup if the client feels comfortable as well as any videos they want to share on their platform.
I first started my passion for makeup in Chicago as I made so many friends in the Club scene and Drag Performance world. As a burlesque dancer in drag I learned the magic behind transforming yourself through makeup. Later on my friend connected me with the account executive for Chanel and I started doing makeup professionally. Within months of building my kit with luxury products and learning how to work on all skin tones and textures I began working TFP (trade for photo) with local photographers and models. My portfolio building was on fire! Then I saw an event that multiple designers models and photographers were hosting at the Stan Mansion and the theme was “Marie Antoinette Let Them Eat Cake!“
I was nervous but felt so ready at the same time. As I was assigned three models to work with including big hair/wigs, giant gowns and an array of cake designers, groups of photographers were ready to capture the moment. There was much room for creative expression, I felt like finally my work was noticed. A set designer asked for my business card and my career took off from there. I was booked so many magical gigs through Shari Cornes. Her eye for style and Boutique Photo Loft gave us so much room to play and host different themes where my love for glamour and excitement for theatrical makeup melted together.
After years of working photo shoots and weddings I decided to work for MAC Cosmetics. Talk about makeup boot camp! I shortly was promoted to manager and truly learned how products were made, worn and completed in under 30 minutes no less. Needless to say my experience is what I am most grateful for and love to share with others. I absolutely love all things beauty and artistry.
After moving to Florida in 2020 I slowly built up more clientele and would love to use this platform to reach a wider audience. If you are looking for a makeup artist to capture a look or just feel your absolute best, I would love to connect!
