We just had Michael play at my daughter's engagement party for 55 people. It was an outdoor event in a backyard. Michael was perfect for this. He showed up on time, set up accommodated whatever we needed.
Told us we can request songs and has a huge library of song choices to choose from. But most of all, the guitar playing and singing was wonderful. Perfect for our needs. He sounded great and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for this type of entertainment.

Michael arrived promptly at the engagement party. Prepared his equipments in a breeze & wasted no time to begin his repertoire. Michael demonstrated excellent vocal & acoustic rendition of his songs. He performed to the highest delight of our guests which prompted even many to dance.

He came all equipped with all the gadgets. He was very humble. Performed so well that my guest loved him. We had a great time: This is long due review .

I booked Michael and his band for my company's first-ever holiday party, and we were so thrilled. From booking via GigSalad to the event itself, Michael was a fantastic & responsive and answered all of my silly questions about weather, setup, space needs, etc.

The guys in the band are just all around fantastic humans, who take care in making sure you & your guests are having fun and enjoying the music they are playing! They even took requests towards the end of the evening, and put on a hell of a performance no matter what song was shouted out.

If you need a band in the Newport Beach area for any scale of event, definitely book Michael, you won't be sorry!!

We hired Michael to perform at my husband's 40th birthday this past weekend. I had done a decent amount of research and Michael looked great, but he completely exceeded expectations!! He is extremely easy to work with, puts you at ease with his ability to accommodate the setting, and most importantly is a very talented singer and guitarist. He reads the crowd intuitively and did a great job picking up the pace throughout the night. He has a huge range of songs and performed all of them flawlessly. Our crowd raved about him and asked for his name afterwards. BIG thank you to Michael for helping us throw a fun party!!

Michael got to our party about 20 minutes before he was about to play. He got setup in around 10 minutes with all his own gear and played for a solid hour at our event. I was hesitant about hiring a musician in general for our party but once I heard Michael play I knew I was dead wrong. Michael is a fantastic musician with a wide range of songs to chose from. For our party, I chose to go with more 80s, 90s, and some current hits which you can specify with him beforehand. You can also specify whether you want him to rev up the crowd all the way to just be some head-bopping background music and we went with somewhere in between. The hour we booked him for seemed to go so fast that I wished I would have booked him for longer. Thanks so much Michael!! I got many, many, many compliments after your show about what great music you played!

Michael came to my boyfriends 50th birthday party and did an amazing job performing! We had it poolside and he was accommodating to play wherever necessary. It created a great atmosphere and happy relaxing vibe. He was on time and played the full-time taking minimal breaks in between. Michael played at a surprise backyard pool party for my wife's 40th birthday. I was looking for upbeat cover songs and I couldn't ask for a better artist. He was super flexible with the playlist (even learned a new midnight oil song which was perfect) and was a hit. Michael is a fantastic singer/guitar player who performed at an outdoor memorial service to a crowd between 15 - 85 yrs old. He was able to strike the perfect mix between background instrumentals and upbeat classics.

I wanted someone that as there to entertain with popular acoustic covers. The range of genre is great for any age group - and the "fusion" portion made it unique! The venue owners were also impressed -- Michael earned fans, and possibly a steady venue.

Michael Physick and his drummer and guitarist were great! We had 76 guests who loved the band,
had fun & danced all night and they were flexible since we had to start a little later than expected.
Best part is I didn't have to worry about the music since he played everything. We celebrated my daughter's engagement and she even requested songs here and there and they knew and played it all beautifully.

What an amazing talent... Having seen him play in person and after following his live videos online, Mike shows his versatility time and time again. He can easily play various styles and always seems to know what the crowd is wanting to hear. And if not?? Just ask him! He seems to have an endless amount of songs that he knows how to play and is more than capable of learning new songs for future gigs. Having seen him play live several times, I can't wait for the next time!!

I have known Mike for a while. Not only he is a great friend, but also a fantastic singer and guitar player. Michael was easy easy to work with, even when he had to jump through hoops to work with our venue.
