Born and raised on Long Island, Michael began his venture in photography over half a decade ago and has been unable to put down his camera since.
This year, Michael was chosen as a finalist for Photographer's Forum's Best of College and High School Photography Contest sponsored by Nikon. The chosen image is now available and published in print by Serbin Communications.
Michael stays up to date with the latest equipment by visiting trade shows and testing out the latest gear. He is a current Contributing Writer for (link hidden)'s Digital Photography Review website.
Michael currently shoots with a FujiFilm X-E2 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. Although some of his past work has been shot on Canon, Nikon, and Nokia cameras.
Chase Jarvis and Annie Leibovitz have both influenced and inspired my shooting greatly.
