We hired Michaela to play at my sister's memorial. She was great to work with: listened closely to what I wanted, came up with several suggestions in terms of music, responded quickly to emails, and her music was just what you'd expect from a professional bagpiper. Highly recommend.
An incredible highlight to the memorial party for my dad who was of Scottish decent and shared a love of bagpipes with my mom. She could not hold in the emotion as Michaela played. It was beautiful. And I’m especially grateful for the memory. Not to mention it was near 100 in my yard and she didn’t miss a beat!

I thought that she played beautifully unfortunately it would have been even better if she would have been on time.. she was suppose to start at 845 but did not arrive till 850 unfortunately most people were already seated inside.. I know that my friend will be happy just knowing we played the bagpipes at his funeral but for the price we paid for only half an hr then to have her late and not even start on time was a little uncalled for.
Micheala presented herself very professionally . Her Scots dress was perfect and of course the bagpipe experience was moving.

Prior to the event, we will have a virtual consultation that will cover the desired tunes and details of the event to ensure everything goes exactly how you dreamed it would.
Once you have scheduled your event date I will secure your spot and arrive upon that date before the start time of your event.
If you feel it's necessary to have a rehearsal or walkthrough of the process, that is always possible upon request.

Michaela Brynn, has a Master's of Music from The University of Memphis and a Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance from Southern Oregon University. She has also worked with and performed with renowned artists such as Mignon Dunn, Willene Gunn and Kristin Chenoweth. Michaela Brynn has been playing the Highland Bagpipes for twelve years. She has placed nationally and has competed both nationally and internationally.
No equipment is required. But please note that the highland bagpipes are very robust in sound. They can reach up to 116 dB indoors (which is the equivalent of a chain saw.) So please do consider this upon my hire.
I also have highland small pipes available which are much quieter and work well for intimate indoor gatherings.
