Michelle Belly Dance

Michelle will arrive before the scheduled performance time to ensure the show goes on like clockwork. She will be in a glamorous costume specially chosen to suit your event and have her music ready to go. The shows created are selected specifically for each event, and Michelle will select music in a variety of moods and tempos for a performance that will hold your guests’ attention and leave them delighted.

Note- no all male events or bachelor parties

Prices start at $300 and up depending on the distance traveled, the amount of time at the venue, performance time and any special requirements of the event.

Hi I’m Michelle

I delight audiences through dance and I work with people to help them learn to function and thrive in the body they have now!

Enjoyed for her enigmatic mix of approachability, classic glamour and geeky humor, Michelle has been entrancing audiences since 2010. Michelle brings her Egyptian-inspired, American Cabaret-influenced eclectic style to the stage, presenting classic and modern raks sharqi along with audience-pleasing folkloric favorites such as saidi, beledi, shaabi, khaleegi and more. She performs both as a soloist and as a member of the Karavans Dance Troupe, the Seattle Chapter of Qabila Folkdance Company and the top duet in Seattle with her dance partner Mariana. Michelle feels that her extensive background and training in visual and fiber arts and current training in the Feldenkrais Method give her a unique perspective through which she can share the joy and passion found in movement to music.
