The DJ team was amazing. Wonderful songs - exactly what kids wanted to hear. Great at Entertaining kids at bat mitzvah.
Photographer was so chill and kids liked him a lot. He was so kind and willing to take any photo. Great team.

I have no words. The DJ was everything we could have hoped for. Everyone is saying what an amazing time they had and how the DJ never missed. Midtown DJs will definitely be the first place I look to get a DJ for prom next year, and any other event that I plan!

DJs were very sweet and the girls at the party had a great time. The one thing I would say is there was only 1 microphone and I thought there would be more in terms of party favors. They did a fine job and the girls had fun but I felt it was over priced for what it was.

We hired Midtown DJ's to provide music for an ice skating party we planned for our community organization. Arrival was timely, and both DJ's were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Despite a smaller than expected turnout which did not allow for much interaction between the DJ's and our guests, I have no doubt that they would have done a great job in that area as well. Communication leading up to the event was fabulous- would highly recommend.

It was great... Thank you for everything. My son had such a good time at his Communion Party. The games kept everyone occupied and happy. They both were very attentive to us as hosts as well as towards our guests. Our adults guests also had fun singing table wars, lol. We will definitely keep you in mind for future events. 😀

Our DJ Maria and Midtown DJ's were easy to work with and extremely professional. All our guest enjoyed the music and the vibe. So much we are using DJ Maria and Midtown DJ's again next week for 3 more event.

They were professional, on time, played fun music and everyone enjoyed it.

This company is very lax in their communications and they left me on the day of my event with three changes in times they were coming to set up. I had called their phone number twice pre-party to discuss with Eric not only the play list, but who would be coming and what time they wanted to get set up. It was all arranged.

Then on the morning of the party, a Jennifer phoned (someone I had never heard of or spoken with) and she clearly had no idea I had already finalized with Eric. She changed everything around. Ok, I can go with the flow. But when the set up time she established came and went, I called and got a third person who clearly wasn't in any loop of info. I just ended up having to cross my fingers and wait to see when they arrived.

They finally showed up with two women, one whose name Eric had given me, but with someone new. They clearly didn't have any idea of what I had asked for them to play, and just played anything they wanted. I was so busy with guests that I never got a chance to take the time to fill them in on what they should have already known. They also never asked for requests, and as it turns out, my guests didn't feel like they were allowed to ask. There was no personality there to interact with my guests. They were very nice, but too quiet and shy.

The contract said it included a light show: Not...and party giveaways: None.
All-in-all, a major disappointment. Eric really sold me a bill of goods that he and his company did not deliver on. Be wary.

My party guests enjoyed the music. The DJ brought some fun items to get the kids dancing.

Definitely a great option for a Kids Party -2nd & 4th graders. We hired them for 4 hours and extended it for 1 more hr. DJ interacted with the children very well and the karaoke is a plus.

I hired Midtown Djs for my son's communion party and Nick did an absolutely amazing job keeping 30 kids completely entertained!!! I will be hiring them in the future! Seriously did an outstanding job!

The DJ was Fantastic - he played music for everybody - both young and old! He had great give aways for the kids and kept everybody entertained! So glad he had cards available because everybody was asking for them!!!!!

They called and canceled 3 hours before our party. They offered a back up but warned the DJ was not good with kids and there’d be no engagement. So I dj’d my own party. And still have not received a refund. My recommendation: PASS

They were prompt and professional and very accommodating to my request of setting up outdoors, even though it wasn't so convenient for them. Would definitely hire them again!

Update: I was called after writing the review in January of how sorry they were and they wanted to make up for the mistake of my video. 1st and for most there is really no way to fix an unfixable video. This was my wedding video that I wanted to have for years to come. Well I was promised to receive 2 free videos for any 2 events and can I take down the review...glad I didn't, this is the reason I didn't. Well needless to say I had booked the videograpber (January 19th) for my husband's surprise birthday celebration for Friday March 8th. Was told he was going to be there and all... guess what, lol 4hrs b4 the surprise celebration I received a text saying: I won't be able to come the busses only have 2 seats left And I'd get there too late I apologize about that I know it's supposed to be a surprise and I would mess it up If I came late...i responded This was planned 2 months in advance..Thanks anyway..his response

Really who does this, this is so unprofessional, If you didn't want to do it you shouldn't make promises you can't keep. I confirmed this date on Tuesday March 5th and was told he was coming.. yet I still don't have a corrected wedding video and no one showed for my promised event..PLEASE DON NOT CALL ME AFTER ME WRITING THIS REVIEW...I TRIED TO WORK WITH YALL AND YET YALL DID NOTHING TO ACCOMODATE ME...THANK YALL FOR NOTHING

Midtownglobe made everyone dance, which was the highlight of the party. He came early, set up, introduced himself, and played a wide variety of music. We were happy with our choice and recommended him to others at the party.

Dj showed up early and did everything we asked for my son's 6th birthday party. He kept everyone entertained and the kids had a blast!!

Nick and his crew showed up, on time, well prepared and blew my family out of the water! Professional, fun, even had a Bollywood list of music and suggestions!

DJ was very nice. Arrived on time and setup. Played great songs and played all our requests. However, the DJ did not interact at all with the crowd. Only made an announcement if we asked him to say something otherwise did not address the crowd at all or even announce Happy Graduation to my daughter. Great music though. He just should have been a bit social and outgoing.

The DJs were great, took requests. The only negative comment I have is there was only one microphone for Karaoke and I wish we had a bigger word screen instead of a laptop. Otherwise, everyone had a great time, and the music was fantastic.

We hired Midtown DJs to be at the finish line for a fun run organized for our K-12 school community. Everything was handled professionally and the DJ and his assistant far exceeded my expectations. In addition to playing music (which is all that was expected), they mixed songs, organized dancing for the youngest kids and gave out fun favors to the children. My favorite memory of the event was watching a large group of 5-8 year olds dancing up a storm in front of the DJ booth. I would definitely hire them again.

As an event coordinator well into the planning of a store grand opening, imagine my fear the day before the event when our DJ suddenly canceled on me! I've been a big fan of GigSalad for some time so with it being my first thought as to how to fix this, imagine my surprise when only minutes after submitting my request I received a message AND a call from Midtown DJs! Not only were they available but they were able to meet all of the requirements for my event! Midtown DJs to the rescue!!!

They were fast in responses during the booking process. I just asked for just background music with a few specific song requests for my son’s first birthday but during the party, our DJ, John, who by the way was so nice- played some games with the kids, got them up and going and dancing, even had prizes and giveaways for them. My guests told me they had so much fun. I kept moving the time of when we were going to stop the music for a Happy Birthday song and John was very understanding of that. Value was also great. They went over the top of what I expected and I’m so happy I booked them!

We had limited time to find a DJ for our New Years Eve family event at our parish. Midtown DJs were the first to apply to our event and they proved themselves to be professional, affable, and affordable for our needs. We would definitely use them again were we in need of a DJ. We couldn't be happier with the way they performed.

Midtown DJ's came early to set up in advance to the party, they were professional, organized and friendly. They played the genre of music we requested and also added some fun music when the crowd started to dance. Midtown DJ's even stayed longer then we had booked them and we truly appreciated it. All of our guests could not stop talking about the music at our party. We look forward to booking for future holiday events!

DJ was exactly what I was looking for. Absolutely great for the price. We hired him for my son’s bday and he did a fantastic job. He got the kids and parents involved in a fun dance and our guests really enjoyed it. He even brought little gifts for the kids. He was extremely responsive with the millions of questions I had and was willing to work with me through the whole process. I would definitely recommend and hire him again.

Hi! My name is Meredith Wallace, and my Sweet 16 birthday party was a couple of days ago, and I honestly thought the DJ was great!! They put up huge speakers at just the volume I wanted and provided lights that made the party look really cool! I gave them a huge list of songs and put stars next to the ones that I wanted them to play the most. They played some of the songs on the list, but not all the ones I was hoping. But thats okay. They played great songs tho- it made the party really lit. My friends loved it too and kept telling me about how great it was. Three people came and did all the DJ stuff, but some of them looked kinda bored. The lady that came (I forgot her name, sorry!) kept coming down and asking for alcohol or some kinda hot drink. Since we didnt have either, we told her no. She honestly seemed kinda pissed off the whole time. but thats okay, since she wasnt the one doing all the DJ stuff. I dont really know why she was there haha. Anyway, I was kinda expecting a little more from the DJ as a whole, but my expectations might of been too high. They did listen to our song requests, but I was hoping they hyped up the crowd a bit more. THe beginning of the party was kinda quiet and boring, since everyone was still arriving and getting ready. but by the time the party got started, the DJ's played just the right songs that everyone knew and got excited about. so thanks, midtown DJs! it was great. really.

We had a party for my 11 yr old. The DJ was fun, engaged with the kids and very courteous! He played all the kids requests, let them karaoke 'voice over' some songs, played games with them and really kept them on their feet!!

Not sure if it was because the party was during the day but there was no "intelligent light show". This was also a party for a bunch of 10-year-olds. Only 1 game was played - a mummy game with toilet paper - along with Karaoke. I was expecting a lot more than that to keep the party flowing. That was disappointing.

The music was fine but again, I would not recommend for a children's party. And I searched specifically for "KIDS DJ/KIDS ENTERTAINER" on this site.

We loved him and his assistants. They know their stuff very well and feel the atmosphere and mood in the venue very accurately. They were always on time, no delays. Very interactive and engaging. We are very grateful to you guys.

We have used other Djs before. Most were loud without substance, so we thought we would try something new. These guys were quiet and friendly when we met, but when it came time to party the dj was an actual club dj. The MC was very upbeat, fun and got everyone going for the period of time we had. We did a new dance to time walk. A dance called one step two step, which we all enjoyed. It's the first party I have thrown where no one wanted to sit and have dinner, they wanted to keep dancing. We recommend this company to everyone!

This dj was fun my family usually doesn't dance but we had a great time the mix of music was awesome and these guys are easy to get along with we kept them for an extra 2hrs will definitely recommend.

I didn't want to spend a fortune but wanted the girls to have fun by the pool. The price was right and the DJ was very nice and played games with them. All in All it was as expected.

This dj was great they kept the crowd going even when he played the oldies they are very well spoken easy to communicate with and their equipment and especially the lighting made a special day even that much better will definitely hire again they get 100 stars from me

On a last minute call we didn't know how things would go but at least we had a dj . At the ceremony they did it to perfection at the reception the bridal party entrance was amazing they did a dance called the dollar wine dance that I only saw while on a Caribbean Cruise. My family and all my friends had a great time these guys were really different and fun from other djs. Fantastic an will recommend

The music was ok. But there was zero interaction between the crowd and the DJ. He did not try to get people to dance or anything. He was on time and pleasant.

Hired a DJ for my daughter's Sweet 16. Everyone had a great time and danced the entire evening. They brought lights and party packs with glow necklaces and stuff. Great MC skills and clean music. Showed up early, very reasonably priced
