Miguel Perez

Miguel was my acoustic guitarist while my wedding guests waited for me, played and sung my processional song (learning it special for my wedding) and our officiant. Miguel listened well, put thought into things, was flexible, and was well-prepared to make my ceremony a success. He projected well and was very comforting while we were going through the uncertainties of what to expect/what to do. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant! We 100% recommend!!!

Miguel made the process easy and seamless! He followed through with each request and offered suggestions when needed to make my daughters wedding exactly what she wanted! Would definitely recommend for your event!

We found Miguel's style, sound, and free-spirited approach to be a perfect match for our family's love of music and more importantly the entertainment for our parent's 50th Anniversary celebration. Miguel was just as excited to play as we were to have him be a part of the special night.

Prior to the performance, we had a bit of a discovery session that led Miguel to the setlist (w/ a few requests) he was preparing to play. We love all types of music so I can imagine coming up with the varied set of songs must have been fun. Once Miguel showed up the night of the celebration, not only was it a surprise, but he brought so much energy to the room and throughout the entire night. Our parents were blown away and immediately engaged by Miguel's personality, talent, and how well he worked the room. We had three youngsters there and Miguel made it just as entertaining for them as the rest of us.

We were all tapping our feet and bobbing our heads, singing along, dancing, laughing, and crying. It was a perfect night and a memorable way of celebrating our parent's 50 years. All because of Miguel.

Miguel did a great job for our event. Communicated often and was a great performer.

Miguel made our special day even more memorable! We wanted our ceremony to represent us; loving, intimate and a little bit funny. That is exactly what we got from Miguel. He was a pleasure to work with throughout the process and we were grateful for his thoughtfulness, professionalism and his attentiveness to our needs. I would recommend Miguel to anyone getting married in Maine!

We loved having Miguel as part of our day. His cheery demeanor made him feel like he was a part of our group. He plays fun, upbeat music great for a crowd or small gathering of friends and family. His take on traditional songs makes them fresh and fun, while at the same time feeling completely familiar. He even learned a new (old) song for me as a surprise for my husband and we loved his rendition!

He was flexible as we had some weather that day and moved him to a covered exterior location while many of our guests hung out inside for a while. This had no impact his performance or positive attitude, for which we were very grateful. When everyone moved back outside, we enjoyed being closer to him for the second half of his performance. Our only regret is not booking him for a longer time! We won't make that mistake next time. :-)

Miguel played for our wedding reception and it couldn't have been more perfect. He was friendly, professional and very talented! Everyone was happy with music. He even learned a song we wanted him to play at our party and it actually sounded better that the original! I would highly recommend Miguel!

Miguel was absolutely AWESOME to work with from the very beginning. We hired him for our small wedding and reception. With hurricane Irma, there was a lot of uncertainty if we were even going to get to visit Key West. Luckily, the day went off better than I ever could have imagined, and a HUGE part of that was Miguel and Sweet Matthew! They played everything I wanted and more and my guests had a truly wonderful time! I cannot give him enough great reviews!! Thank you Miguel and Sweet Matthew- you made our day so special! Mc Couscous & Sweet Matthew did an amazing job at our reception and created the perfect atmosphere. All our guests loved them and kept complimenting us on our band. We strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a great time :)

Mc Couscous & Sweet Matthew played at our wedding reception. We are beyond happy with the service they provided and we had so many compliments from our guests. I even requested a country song. They learned it no problem and played it while I walked down the isle. I would recommend them to any of my friends or family for their special day.

Couscous and Sweet Matthew played our 30-year class reunion in Key West and it was awesome! These guys play everything and anything! They even did a custom song for our party! How cool is that? I would highly recommend them to anyone!
