I specialize in jazz guitar, but also perform rock, blues, and have provided live and studio guitar work for numerous local singer/songwriters. I also play bass guitar and a bit of tenor saxophone. For your event, I can put together a duo, trio, or quartet or just perform solo guitar if that is your preference.

I began playing guitar at age 13 and started jazz guitar in high school. I fell in love with the music and decided to pursue jazz as a college major. I earned a Bachelor of Jazz Performance degree from Webster University as well as a Master of Jazz Performance degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I taught private guitar lessons for many years, as well as jazz history and appreciation courses at local community colleges. I have appeared on many recordings for jazz and other musical styles and am available for studio work as well.
