Mike Raymer Magician

Mike's charming personality and magical skills create an unforgettable experience. With over 40 years of experience and working with diverse audiences Mike has honed his craft to keep the audience engaged and on the edge of their seats. From the moment he begins his show, you will be captivated by his stories, mesmerized by his magic, and experience the joy and wonder of witnessing the seemingly impossible become possible. Every show includes music, magic, laughter, and audience participation. You will see that Mike loves what he does. It shows in how he treats his audience and volunteers. Often the volunteer seems to be doing the magic and every volunteer takes center stage and becomes the "star of the show".

Michael "Magi-Mike" Raymer became interested in magic when he was six years old after helping a magician on stage. That Christmas, he received his first magic set and was hooked. He has been performing magic since he was 13 years old, when he performed his first show for his uncle.

After graduating high school, Mike became a professional magician, performing for many organizations, churches, and schools in Louisville, KY. He has performed in several states and internationally in Canada, Italy, and Guatemala.

He has studied under some of the top professional magicians in the field. He is a life member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (I.B.M.) and the Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.) and a member of the Louisville Magic Club, where he served as President for six years.

Mike was the editor and writer of The Magic SYMbol, an international magazine for the Society of Young Magicians, for over seven years and served as the Regional Vice President for the Society of American Magicians in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Mike has been a youth minister working with middle and high school students. He shares his Gospel Message of being Called, chosen, and Sent to churches, ministries, youth groups, and youth organizations.

Mike often performs family-friendly magic and illusion shows with his wife, Michele.
