As a full-time working musician, I make my living performing in piano-bars, restaurants, cafes, vineyards, country clubs, and house parties throughout New York and New England.
I pride myself on performing an eclectic mix of popular music spanning multiple decades, from artists such as Billy Joel, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Queen, Ray Charles, Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Dave Matthews, Radiohead, Ed Sheeran, and more, including a handful of classical music and jazz standards.

We recently held a party to celebrate our son, daughter-in-law and grandson. Our son and his family live in CA so this was a celebration for our family and friends to meet our daughter-in-law and welcome their newborn son. Mike Tedesco is not only a talented performer who was spot on with his choice of music, but also charismatic, warm, friendly and just a pleasure to be around. Mike Tedesco is a true talent and wonderful performer! He was the first to respond to my request for a piano player for our holiday party on 12/9/23 and delivered in spades! He came early and prepared with a lot of his own equipment, including sleek speakers, which was an added bonus. He was background music when appropriate and responded easily to my enthusiastic guests who wanted to sing along! He is incredibly talented and can sing and play Billy Joel classics, which is not an easy feat! The next day I got text after text after text raving about "The Piano Man!" Which he also nailed - and we've got video to prove it! You will not be disappointed with Mike Tedesco. He deserves a bigger stage than my house!

You can expect a fantastic performance filled with a variety of music to appeal to everyone. My performance style and song selection works well for a variety of events, whether I'm meant to be background music at a dinner party, the main performer for a wedding ceremony, or front and center for a party to bring the energy and entertainment. My style of playing is never a disturbance to the event itself - in fact, I've been consistently told that the music I play works perfectly for events where people are looking to converse amongst themselves while still listening to the music. I'm very comfortable working to provide music for the background of any event.
A New York based pianist/singer-songwriter, Mike Tedesco brings high-energy and eclectic music to every performance. Tedesco has drawn inspiration from a variety of musicians including Billy Joel, Jeff Buckley, and Freddie Mercury.
Tedesco has toured all over the country, and typically plays year-round throughout New York and New England. Tedesco has most recently teamed up with multi-instrumentalist/producer Justin Goldner (Dear Evan Hansen, The Greatest Showman) and drummer Jamie Eblen (Dear Evan Hansen) to create his EP, Hardly Recognizable, released through Sound Revolver Records and available on all streaming platforms.

During the pandemic, Mike has taken his passion for performing to live streaming on Twitch, where he has quickly gained a following.
All I require is access to an electrical outlet to power my equipment.
If the gig is outdoors and there is a chance of rain, I require to be under some sort of covering - I do not provide my own tent/cover.
