I've had the pleasure of hearing Mimi speak on two separate occasions, one that was dedicated to rising high school student leaders in Oakland county and the other was to parents, family members, and graduating seniors of the Class of 2018 from Southfield A&T High School. At both events Mimi engaged and interacted with the crowd consistently; she was mesmerizing as she moved about the stage and infused personal anecdotes with her keynote message. Students laughed, took notes, and responded accordingly at the student leadership conference; at the Senior event everyone was intrigued by her captivating presence, plethora of knowledge and resources, and overall theme. I never leave "empty handed" from Mimi's speaking engagements; in fact I feel empowered and compelled to pursue my passion and life goals as a result of being in the audience.
