Thank you so much for including me in your special event, Arlene! What a magical birthday space you created! I'm delighted to have been able to help you complete your vision!
I am a native arab professional woman who moved 7 years ago from Miami Fl. After watching many performers in Seattle area, Mirabai was my pick to be my teacher. Mirabai impresses me with her complete essence capturing of each style of the middle astern dance. I don't feel she is a foreigner to the dance when she translates the music to those perfect moves and gestures that radiate nothing but perfect execution, grace, beauty and elegance.
She is very professional and respectful. I invited her to do some educational performance to my work colleagues last year. Till date they are still talking about it. Thanks a lot Mirabai and Thank You for being there for the dance. XOXOXO
Response from Mirabai Asal:
Ban, it was wonderful to get to be your teacher for a time. And it has been such a joy to dance for the events you have created. I am honored, humbled and inspired by your high regard for my abilities!
We hosted a birthday party for my husband who turned 70. Mirabai was very accommodating and easy to plan with. She provided a great family friendly experience for all as she engaged willing participants to dance along and learn some mid eastern dance moves. Everyone enjoyed the performance and we had a lot of fun and laughs. Thank You Mirabai.
Mirabai put on a beautiful and fun performance for me and my friends. She tailored the performance for the audience. It was great.
Response from Mirabai Asal:
I still enjoy the memory of dancing for your group, Rebecca! The delight on the children's faces, and the giggles and laughs from all the moms were so much fun. I'm so glad your husband thought to gift you a belly dance performance from me!

Mirabai is an engaging, soulful entertainer and a gifted belly dance artist who energizes her audiences! Her devotion to the dance, love of her audiences, and her exquisite artistry make her a beloved dancer, entertainer, choreographer and teacher throughout the Puget Sound.
She began her studies at the age of 3 with tap and ballet. In her teens, she discovered belly dance, and fell in love with its ability to fully embody, transmit and to elevate the feminine divine. Belly dance was just the gateway, though, which opened the door to broader studies of other contemporary and folkloric dances of the Arabic world. Since her first explorations, Mirabai has studied under many nationally and internationally acclaimed dance artists. She is honored to have studied with Mahmoud Reda, Randa Kamel, Mohamed Shahin, Amel Tafsout, Yousry Sharif, Amir Thaleb, Bozenka, Aziza, Leila of Cairo and Karim Nagi, to name just a few. Additionally, she has gained invaluable coaching from her collaborations with local dancers in Seattle and Las Vegas.
Mirabai is a multi-award-winning artist, who now teaches all levels of dance throughout the Puget Sound. She is available for private and special occasion group lessons. She is also available for workshops and special event performances. You can find her at festivals, competitions, and dance seminars throughout the country and in particular in the Northwest.
Technical details are fairly easy, consisting mainly of a dressing area, dance space and mode of playing music. These details usually get worked out fairly quickly.
