Miriam is a professional Belly Dancer in the Houston area with over 17 years of experience. Miriam utilizes several props including sword, candle tray, Isis wings, zills, LED Isis wings, veil and fan veils, several LED props (poi, fans) as well as FIRE in her performances. Miriam loves to incorporates Khaleegy and Samba into her Belly Dance shows upon request.
We booked Miriam for our Egyptian themed Halloween party and she was amazing!!! She is very skilled at her craft, interacted with the crowd which made it really fun, and added different props to her performance. We highly recommend her.

Miriam will provide an electronic signature contract once client has agreed to hire her. Contract will state arrival time, event location, duration of performance, performance fee plus deposit fee, any special requests for music or costume.
Miriam always arrives 10-15 minutes prior to set time for performance.
Miriam requires a $100 deposit fee to be received to set your special event in her calendar, the rest of the performance fee is required right before or after the performance in cash.
Performing and learning for seventeen years the Art of Belly Dance, Samba, Tahiti and Persian Folklore. Miriam Amaya feels blessed to keep learning different styles of dance. Miriam is a self taught sword and candle tray dancer. Miriam has also learned from great teachers Tahitian, Samba and a little of Classical Indian Dance.
Miriam performs in birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, as well as Hookah Lounges in Houston and Conroe TX.
Miriam’s shows include fan veils, veil, zills, candle tray with incense, sword and/or Isis wings and LED Isis wings as well as LED and fire props such as poi, fans and fire belt. Please see videos.
Miriam is available to perform in Houston and surrounding areas as well as out of town. Keep in mind out of town performances include travel expenses.
