Miss Sparkles did such an amazing job at our Neon Nights dance for our senior center. She was not only extremely talented with face painting and balloon art, but also very personable. We will definitely hire her again in the future! :)

I was so impressed looking across the lawn and seeing her go out of her way to blow bubbles for our guests to ensure the kiddos had an even more memorable experience! Miss Sparkles made my toddler’s birthday extra special! She warmed up the kids with something they can take along in the trampolines and took requests for sparkly wands or awesome monster trucks and dragons.

Miss Sparkles is GREAT. She rolled with the punches at my daughter's 1st birthday. We had 140 pple, 50 of them children. We also had other entertainment but when the kids didn't quite take to the face painting, she busted out with the balloons and they were a hit! Her face painting was amazing too but for some reason the kids loved the balloons! Def would hire Ms Sprinkles again. Thank you so much!

Miss Sparkles was excellent. She arrived early, was sweet and engaging with my son the birthday boy, and kept the kids entertained with her beautiful and creative balloon art. She even lent a hand with cake cutting, which was totally unexpected and very helpful! It was our first time using gigsalad and hiring a balloon twister. The experience was great and we were happy to have Miss Sparkles at the party and glad we hired her.

Ms. Sparkles did a wonderful job entertaining with her balloon creations and even taught our guests how to make their own, which was captivating for our 9-year-olds. She was delightful and kept them entertained even during the Santa Ana wind storm! She also helped me get the guests transitioned from balloons to pizza time. We were lucky to have her!

She set up early and ended up starting a bit early when the kids approached her. She was patient and wonderful with the kids and everyone loved her and her face painting and balloon art. I would totally book her again!

We hosted a party for our son's birthday with about 30 children. Miss Sparkles was a HUGE hit with her creative balloon designs and super fun face painting. Miss Sparkles was so sweet with all the children, made insanely gorgeous balloons and made sure all the kids were happy. Highly recommended!

She arrived promptly, only did balloons for us. Kids loved it.

She is a nice person! She is just not a great performer. I hired her to do balloon twisting, face painting and magic. She only did couple tiny balloons for the girls and none of are as nice and big as on her profile. She didn't do any magic! She sat around most of the time blowing the bubbles and made couple balloons. Luckily I had a backup face painter and he did an amazing job painted over 20 faces in an hour. I paid her for 2 hours, she came to the wrong location wasted 1 hour there and only stayed for 1 hour. I contemplated to write the review but all my friends at the party pushed me to write this review.

We discovered the very talented Miss Sparkles at a friend's party and knew she would be my go-to for entertainment in the future. She was prompt to respond to my request and communication was perfect the entire way though. She stayed for 3 hours and had plenty of time to do facepaint and/or balloons for all of the kids...there were a ton of kids! She even made horns for the unicorn facepaint...no one had seen that before! Miss Sparkles is truly a master of her craft and we can't wait to have her back for all my kids parties!

As for the services we hired her for, it seemed like the face painting options were limited and honestly not as good as I was expecting. The photo of Miss Sparkles shows her with a festive hat and shirt with balloon animals on it so we were expecting something like that but we were disappointed when she showed up in something else that didn’t appear to be very festive at all. The ballons she did were ok. Overall, my family and I are pretty upset about the experience. Miss Sparkles was asking several different family members about my daughter and the fact that she likes to walk on her tip toes. She starting telling my sister in law and grandmother that something must be wrong with her, that there is a neurological issue going on and that we needed to get it assessed and remedied. Some time later ( I wasn’t aware of the previous comments) she then proceeded to ask me, her mother, if she always walked that way. I told her yes, that we’ve inquired about it and were assured that my daughter is just fine. She then then said there must be a developmental issue, that I needed to address the issue and that she (or someone she knows- I can’t remember) has a child that is autistic and that there’s a place that can help children like them and wrote down the phone number for a place that specializes in people with disabilities. I can’t believe that a complete stranger would be so intrusive, ask all those questions an make assumptions that something is wrong with my daughter. I had about 6 different family members talk to me after the party to tell me what happened and how upset they were. For them, it made the rest of the 2 hours she was there (she began asking questions about it while she was still setting up) uncomfortable and they were angry and shocked by the whole thing, as was I. I definitely would not recommend Miss Sparkles.

I did an online search for face painters and balloon artists and found several highly priced vendors. And then I found Gig Salad, which did the work for me. I just selected the date and time, what services I was looking for, and size of party and I had a quote from Miss Sparkles that very same day. A few more vendors sent quotes over the course of the next couple days and I was able to review their profile and compare prices and communicate with them if I had questions. Once I decided upon a vendor, it was easy to book and pay for online and I was done worrying about that part of the party. Miss Sparkles was great at following up and confirming before the event, was at my door on time, kept herself busy setting up while we finished having cake and ice cream, and was great with the kids and adults. Her face painting skills and balloon twisting skills are great!

Miss Sparkles was going non-stop all-day at our holiday event. She did a great job accommodating the large crowd and was very friendly. You could tell she has a lot of experience handling children and crowds.
Her balloon twisting was really cute. We wish we could have had her do some more complicated designs and hats that everyone wanted (and we'd seen on her site), but with our custom load the twisting was kept to a simpler set. Regardless, she was a hit and much appreciated!

The artist was late and didn’t text or call to alert me that she was running late. She stated that she forgot the face painting so only did balloon twisting even though I paid for both. She offered to give me a half hour free “next time”. She tried to leave early when things slowed down. She brought my son a beach ball which was a nice gesture. The kids loved the balloon animals/ characters she made.

This was our second time working with her! The first time it was my son’s first birthday and this time was for my daughters pre school Halloween carnival. She was amazing! Not many people can handle 34 kids and even more parents coming at her at once and there wasn’t one disappointed child or parent. She was fun, professional and accommodating to every request. I will not EVER hesitate to use her at every party and school performance and party. She is absolutely the best!!!

My nephew turned 2, and I hired Miss Sparkles for his birthday party. We attended to have the birthday party at a park. But with this crazy storm that hit, we ended up changing the location to the house. She made it a wonderful experience with all the kids stuck inside. She was friendly, nice, outgoing. Just a pleasure to be around. All the moms there just loved her as well. I will be booking her as well as my friends for any upcoming events. Ms. Sparkles was early to our event and was very patient and accommodating when told we were running late. She immediately clicked with the children present and was very funny and entertaining with the kids. She has superb skills. I will contract her without a doubt for our next event. We were left very pleased with Ms. Sparkles.

Very unprofessional was late 1 hour to my event didn't even call to let me know that she was running late! Hired her for 2 hours and she only stayed for 1 hour and she had the nerve to take a break to eat! I WILL not recommend her at all!
