Overview
My wife Barb and I perform magic shows as a team and enjoy entertaining adults, children, and seniors too. We haves several stage shows, closeup shows, and strolling shows. We excel at keeping our magic humorous and entertaining, and have honed our skills over the past two decades. This business has taken us not only coast to coast but to Europe several times plus Israel, Canada and Mexico. We have even performed on a cruise ship to Alaska once. There is a shortage of laughter in today's world and we aim to correct that shortage where ever and when ever we can. May every DAY be MAGIC.

Lovely couple. They gave a magnificent performance during my kid’s 6th bday. Everyone loved Mr. Illusion’s magic that kids still talked about the show even after the party. Both kids and adults enjoyed every minute of it. We bought the packet with levitating finale and it was worth it! I highly recommend Mr. Illusion.

We have performed for many various company events over the years, but we cannot remember any time when we felt more appreciated than we did this past Saturday. Our goal was to create entertainment, laughter, and fun memories for all those attending, and we believe we achieved our goal. Please keep us in mind for any future company events where you desire entertainment. We not only do stage magic, but strolling & closeup as well. We spoke a couple of times about what would be appropriate. We settled on strolling magic, which happened at several tables (I was a bit distracted with the over all event to really observe), and a couple big show type things for the group, all attention on him. I was thinking Charlie would have invited the birthday boy up with him to do something (we mentioned we arranged the room, so there was extra room). He did do a big birthday card display, but we missed the beginning of the ‘trick’. The up close magic I observed was entertaining.
He came early to view the venue. I had sent pictures of the venue previously to him, along with names of family, etc.
I guess my thought was it would at some point be more personalized, in that the 70 year old birthday boy would have more focus on him alone for a couple ‘tricks’. It was mostly to be strolling.
Charlie is easy to talk to and very hospitable.

What an awesome audience…fun-loving and appreciative! I was able to to get to each of the nine tables at least once and some twice in the 45 minutes I was booked to do strolling/table hopping. I actually starting doing closeup prior to everyone sitting down at their tables. The room was small and very noisy, but appreciation was evidenced by applause, laughter, and several very generous monetary tips to me from the guests. After my 45 minutes of strolling magic, several individuals gave speeches to congratulate the birthday person on his 70th birthday. Following the last speaker I performed three larger illusions in an open area on one side of the room. First, I made a birthday cake appear from some “magic” ingredients, then I displayed a large pile of birthday cards which magically blended into a large “Happy Birthday” banner. The birthday person was sitting directly in front of me as this was performed, so I asked everyone to wish him a happy birthday after I counted to three. As a finale, I performed an illusion which is normally done on stage. I turned on some dramatic music and brought out a magician table which suddenly levitated in the air and floated all around the room, almost escaped my grasp and then settled to the floor once again after a three or four minute “flight”. I then wished the birthday person a happy birthday and asked the entire audience to do the same on my count of three, and everyone did with much enthusiasm.

About
Born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and raised in a rural area, Charlie developed many hobbies while still in high school. A magic kit ignited the spark at Christmas at the age of 8, and an ongoing interest continued throughout his high school years. He read many magic books, watched his favorite magician Mark Wilson on television, and made many trips to New York City to purchase magic from the Tannen brothers. He performed at parties and other social events.
After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York with a B.S. degree, he entered the United States Army as a Private soldier. Three years later he returned from Vietnam as a First Lieutenant. He then initiated a career in the printing industry. Years later he was employed in the telecommunications industry.
Today, Charlie is a full time professional magician performing at churches, Sunday school classes, service clubs, retirement facilities, schools, businesses, company picnics, day care centers, theaters, and many private parties. He has appeared on Cable Television, on an NCL cruise ship, and has had feature articles written about him.
He is active in the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians. He has won magic performance awards from these organizations, but he says that the greatest reward or award of all is when he hears the comment "You made my day" following one of his performances.
Charlie Fass (Mister Illusion) resides in Roseville, California and is married to Barb whom he met in college. Barb adds much to the performances as assistant and choreographer. He has two daughters, Wendy and Julie, who are married and also live in California. Both his daughters have also appeared with him as part of his stage illusions to include being levitated in “thin air.”
