My name is Nicole and I have been a henna artist for 3 years. I am 20 years old and I was born in a small town in the East Kootenays. I started my business in Parksville, Bc and continued to do henna in my home town, Cranbrook BC, and also in Victoria BC where I attend school. I am currently in school to become a elementary school teacher. Henna is a passion of mine and I love sharing it with the world!

Before your appointment avoid putting any creams or oils on as it will prevent the henna from staining your skin. Some henna appointment can take up to 3 hours so please grab everything you need to be comfortable! For the darkest and most long lasting stain the henna paste will need to remain on your skin for 6-24 hours. This is done with a lemon juice and sugar sealant or medical paper tape. After the paste is off you will have a bright orange stain that will turn into a rich reddish brown over 48 hours. To protect your stain avoid soaking, scrubbing, and rubbing. Coconut oil is also great to prolong your henna stain life!
