I first stumbled upon her one night on market Street downtown Charleston several years ago. In the middle of a bachelor party, we were drawn away from our next bar to the sound of her angelic voice that has been rasped by love and life. We hung out listening to her for a half hour till she wrapped up her set... Much applause and tips were given. She took time to say hello and thank everyone that was there. Very unusual with musicians.
Since then I have happened upon her all over the low country. I now look for her when making plans with friends as she can accommodate any crowd. From dive bars to black tie affairs. She is amazing!!!
My favorite story, I was invited to a dinner on a 200 ft yacht and much to my surprise??? Whom did I hear while boarding???

She has a unique voice and style, very entertaining, very soulful. From originals to covers, she absolutely captivates the audience with both her singing and guitar playing. I go see her every chance I get, my 10 year old son still talks about the show I took him to!
If she is singing a cover or an original, she will absolutely blow your mind! Molly is by FAR the most talented artist around! Absolutely incredible. She sang for an event for my restaurant and I can’t tell you the amount of people that came up to me praising her. You will not be disappointed with the level of talent this Woman has! Molly Durnin is a singer-guitarist with an engaging stage presence. She has been performing non-stop as a full-time musician for ten years, making her a rarity among female artists. She has garnered accolades as a singer-songwriter due to the breadth and depth of her writing, and she has paid her dues as a cover artist at countless venues and watering holes across the U.S.
Molly’s songs draw from the heart of Americana – country, blues and folk yet every song is uniquely hers. Her songs are clever and amusing, honest and hard-hitting, tender and heartfelt. Everyone agrees “she has that special ability to take you there.” Armed with a battered Breedlove guitar and a treasure trove of memorable choruses, she’s got everything she needs to rock the house.
A native of the Northeast, Molly has lived in both the South and the Midwest. Raised in rural NY, she began singing in the “518” music scene of the Capital Region, where she released her debut CD entitled Run in 2012.
Molly has earned praise for her original songs at the renowned folk venue Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY. She has been both a street singer at the City Market in Charleston, SC, and a hard working mainstay at honky-tonks throughout the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois.
Molly is currently living in Charleston, SC with her Siberian Husky, where she sings at local hot spots, both as a solo act and with backup, performs her original music at listening venues, and tours nationally on a seasonal basis.
