After every speaking event or interaction with someone regarding personal finance, I ensure to provide encouragement and tips to make a change immediately. In the United States, 4 out of 5 individuals currently live paycheck to paycheck. No matter your salary size, if you have the right tools you can make sure you are the 1 out of the 5 that are not living paycheck to paycheck. By breaking down topics like Money Mindset, Spending Plans and Investing Basics, immediately people realize that Financial Independence is within their grasps.

My goal for every speaking event is to build confidence that financial security is within everyone gasp and that there is no reason to be fearful of the numbers. I also ensure that everyone walks away with at least one tip on something they can do that day to positively impact their financial future. I try to emphasize different things for the age groups I am presenting in front of; for example, if I am speaking to young adults I tell them how to evaluate their 401k - think about using their HSA to make investments etc.
Additional I am willing to stay after to answer personal questions that individuals may have so that everyone has the opportunity to leave more inspired.
Yaneke Douglas-Keise is an advocate for wealth building. By the age of 25, Yaneke purchased her first home while on a trainee salary after saving 20% for the down payment on the house, paid for her car and afford multiple trips abroad. During this time, Yaneke investment frequently both individually and with an investment group, she helped to create. She spent time counseling others and helped clients to pay off debt, purchase homes, have active investments and so much more.
It was not always glamorous for Yaneke, at one point, Yaneke had around $100,000 dollars in debt which included car loans, student loans, credit cards, and medical debt. Knowing that wealth-building was her focus, she decided to change her life and focused on getting rid of her debt. As the founder of Money Keise, Yaneke dedicates her time to ensure that everyone else understands that wealth building is not just for the wealthy.
I like to start out with music to loosen up the audience depending on the gig.
