Monticello Road performs a wide variety of songs and genres of popular music from the last 60 years. MR puts their own stamp and creativity on each piece of music they perform. Stellar vocal harmonies, excellent musicianship, and attentional to detail are all hallmarks of their presentation. Furthermore, Monticello Road can do it all from providing tasteful background music to taking center stage and engaging with their audience.
Some say that the thrill of adventure is obtained in the journey and not in reaching the destination. Others say that the road less traveled is where you'll find the greatest things. Getting to Monticello Road has truly been an adventure year in the making. Pop, Rock, Americana, and more have been consolidated to deliver a musical soundscape that takes listeners along for the scenic ride.
Blending different genres of music into a cohesive whole is what Monticello Road is all about. Artists from the past 60 years of popular music are represented on the diverse song list. Also, each song is delivered in a unique style that Monticello Road calls its own. Frank and Ellen aren't content just copying a song - they give each song the respect it deserves and adds their own flavor in order to put their personal stamp on the material.
Each performance is geared towards the listener. Furthermore, Monticello Road wants to transport each audience member to places known and unknown - the journey representing the adventure. A musical adventure.........
Monticello Road is fully self-contained regarding production. MR shows up with everything needed to deliver a great sounding and looking performance. In the case of larger festival shows or concerts, our technical needs are fairly basic. We'll be happy to discuss our needs with the production staff for your larger-scale event.
