Moody Little Sister played our first ever House Concert and completely wowed our audience, to say the least. MLS had everyone hooked from the opening song to the closing one, and we all loved the great storytelling in between. The evening ended with cheers and a standing ovation, well-deserved. Naomi Hooley & Rob Stroup are a husband and wife duo that tour under the name "Moody Little Sister" throughout the Northwest. Co-writing together, Hooley and Stroup have a unique and blend of folk, soul, americana and a touch of gospel buried deep amongst the roots.
The duo tours over 100 shows a year between venues and festivals, but their favorite shows of all, are house concerts. Believing that every one of us is a story, and that we are companions in the human struggle. Moody Little Sister is about the journey.
Naomi Hooley, a born and raised Alaskan who moved to Portland to pursue music full time, brings a unique folk flare, alongside of a deep appreciation for nature and storytelling.
They both now reside in Truth or Consequences New Mexico and tour the SW and NW as full time artists.
