Growing up in Mobile Alabama ,”Mook” 23,saw the effects of poverty and experienced unfair treatment from the police.He knew what it felt like to lose love ones and maintain strength for his younger siblings. The 23-year-old rapper drew on his experiences and the experiences of those around him for musical inspiration.

He quit football when he was around 16 or 17 and focused on his rap career, something he'd be interested in after going to a free Lacrae concert with his teammates.

As he started to write , he started to impress, and is continuing to impress with his lyrical wittiness mixed with a splash of melodic flavor.
