Moonlight, Music and Mystery

These two did a wonderful job for my sister's 60th birthday. The song they composed and performed was absolutely right on the money. My sister laughed and cried! They were very adaptive to the surroundings and venue. I highly recommend this duo!

As a last minute idea for a birthday surprise for a friend, I did a google search and found David & Lynda, they responded so quickly, and while I live out of state they were able to make it all work out and did an amazing performance! Thank you!

Lynda and David done amazing! Their performance was enjoyed by all. They were on time, took time to write a parody and performed an amazing 50th bday surprise for my husband. They're great communicators also

I hired Lynda and David as the Grand Finale for my wife's 60th Birthday party. I made a good choice.
They did a murder mystery built around the first songs played on MTV. Almost everyone in our group of 20 adults had a part. Some small parts, some longer speaking parts.
I can't begin to describe how much fun and the amount of laughter they generated as they portrayed several crazy characters.
Note this is a comedy, musical murder mystery. It is like nothing you have ever been a part of. I had family in the group from 6 to 84 and they all loved the show.
It took Lynda about an hour to cast everyone. She is quite funny doing that. Then the show lasts about 2 hours.....I am guessing a bit there as time really flew by. David is also funny and talented.
If you are looking for a memorable, fun event that is very interactive and quite unique, give these two a call.
You will not be disappointed.
I would have them back this next weekend if I could figure out a way to get enough people together.

The team was seamless to work with! In fact, I was probably more difficult than anyone! The questionnaire you fill out about the guest of honor is spot on and they nailed it in their custom song. They had everyone involved and grins from ear to ear!

Wow! What a group to work with. From the personalization to the communication, my experience was great. I hired them to go sing at my husband’s 50th birthday party. I was unable to travel for the family party but MMM made it like I was there. They personalized and delivered a special song. Even sending me a copy of the lyrics as a keepsake and a photo of them with my husband. MMM is a talented group who delivered such a special gift!

Moonlight, Music and Mystery was great to work with! Their Murder Mystery Gatsby Theme was so entertaining, our guests loved it!

Lynda and David came and played for a backyard party for my son’s first birthday, and they were pure magic. They intuitively picked up on the vibe and flow of the party, and adapted their music to really cultivate comfortable, happy, natural vibes throughout the party. Their set and repertoire was perfection and they totally pulled in everyone from the babies to the grandparents - Beetles to current music, with 90s rock being a real hit for us millennial parents. From babies refusing to look at anything except the band, to dancing kids and lip syncing dads, everyone was mesmerized by them and asking me how I found them and complementing them. I got texts after that it was a “blissful” party, and I know that’s because their music, and the vibe they created, was just so special for kids and parents to be able to share together. They encouraged and empowered kids who wanted to sing, and they played for grown ups who sang also. And it goes without saying that they were so generous spirited and lovely to work with. They were flexible with the timing and when I asked, they stayed and played 2.5 hours beyond what I’d originally booked (because no one wanted them to leave!) SUCH a tremendously talented team… I can’t believe how lucky I was to able to book them. I will be booking them again for sure. Thank you Lynda and David !!!!

Hired for a birthday telegram and they were a hit! Fast at communicating. They created a custom song for my friend and everyone had a great time. Highly recommend!

Very easy to work with. They wanted to find out as much info as they could on the person who the party was for. Even made up a song for the birthday person. You will not be disappointed.

Dave and Lynda drove three hours for 5 minutes of work. They helped us pull off a practical joke on a friend at my husband's 50th birthday party. She doesn't like Christmas Carolers so Dave and Lynda caught her off guard when she opened the door and got Christmas Carols in June. They also did songs for my husband's birthday. All in all a great experience and hope to do a Murder Mystery with them in the future. Highly recommend.

I had a singing telegram for my brother in laws 60th birthday. The personalized song was terrific. Everyone agreed it was money worth spent!! This morning he told my sister it was a good time and how long she knew about it.

I have an ongoing battle with a coworker (friend) where we play harmless silly
pranks on each other. I just happen to be better at pranking than her. I hired MMM after a failed attempt on her part and MMM became my accomplice. MMM wrote a parody about my coworker and sang it perfectly to my requested theme of songs about breathing (we work in respiratory care). The entire building loved it and it brought so many smiles, tears and joy to the workday. The recipient even called it a “masterpiece” in our battle. MMM was awesome, easy to work with and very understanding with a schedule change needed. Absolutely recommend them!

They had the whole room clapping, smiling, and singing, while my Business partner was a little red in the face with embarrassment and surprise. We had a great time! A lot of laughs & dressing for the era was fun. The only thing that would have made it better was if they explained in the very beginning what a dinner theater actually was, and that you need to follow along for clues/ cast parts/ participate etc… a lot of our guests have never experienced an event like this so they didn’t know they needed to be listening for clues so at the end they were confused when it was time to “solve the mystery.”

This was such a great performance. We have an active group of seniors at our center and they really enjoyed getting involved. Nothing but compliments! Would recommend. This involved the murder story, David and Lynda singing 1920s songs that they roped into the script. They called up cast and other for random dancing scenes.

Our ages ranged from 1 month (4 toddlers) to 63 years (6 adults) and everyone loved listening to and interacting with Moonlight, Music and Mystery! I had been searching for carolers with energy who didn't just stand there and sing... and I found this wonderful duo. Moonlight, Music and Mystery joyfully passed out rhythm instruments to all and encouraged additional singing and even dancing along. David played the guitar while singing, and his fun and lovely wife played bongo drums and additional percussion while singing. Moonlight, Music and Mystery didn't just play secular songs, they also played joyful sacred Christmas carols, which I requested. Thank you, Moonlight, Music, and Mystery for a wonderful time. We definitely look forward to having you back!!

We had the 1920's Murder Mystery for our work Christmas Party, and they were so much fun! They kept the crowd of about 80 involved the whole time. We would definitely have them back!!

It was perfect for background entertainment at our Holiday Club Mart. They were very conscientious of sound level with a great assortment of Christmas songs and other tunes. Our members really enjoyed the variety. They were on time, super kind and very talented!

We hired MM+M for a small private house party last December. They were GREAT, it was only a small group with a couple of kids and they weren't put off by the smaller crowd. We were all thoroughly entertained, and danced and sang along the whole time! They provided instruments for the group to be involved, both adults and children loved it. Will definitely be hiring again, and would have no hesitation recommending them.

We did the “video killed the radio star” event for my wife 40th birthday, and it was a ton of fun. Very interactive and very entertaining- would definitely recommend!

For us they came and performed classic rock and some new songs for a family birthday party. They played for 3 hours straight! Would definitely recommend.

We hired this group for a corporate outing of 40 people. Not sure what to expect, we made the hire based on the amazing reviews alone. It was awesome. The entertainment was during our plated dinner and from the time guests started to arrive, they were all given parts and assignments. Everyone was engaged and the staff at Moonlight does an amazing job to read a crowd, improve and entertain. I have already shared their information with several business associates and they will be my very first call for future entertainment. The price is also amazing for their time, prep, setup, props, creativity and professionalism. Thanks Moonlight for making our cheeks and stomachs hurt from laughing so hard.

This group did an outstanding job of bringing a singing telegram miles away to our daughter for her birthday. We had several special requests and they were able to incorporate our requests into the telegram. They wrote their own parody based on information we gave them, they sang a song we had written, they dressed in my daughter's favorite color, and in the end they made her feel special and loved on her birthday. This group was easy to communicate with, very friendly, and I would use them again.

From the start we could tell they really cared and wanted to make the birthday girl feel special. The showed up with her favorite candy with a ballon and extra percussion for everyone to play along. Everything was amazing. I call at the last minute, one day before the event. I gave them songs they didn't know. I would have not known they did not the songs. The songs were performed well. And they made the song very personal by adding little things about the person.
