Morgan Stewart

We always draw a decent size crowd that likes to drink and order food. We will have the people rockin out in their seat or dancing up front. We are also very dynamic. We have some great slow songs that will keep the audience hypnotized. We just like to have fun and stay laid back, and make sure the venue that hired us is happy.

Morgan Stewart has always had music all around her. Her mother, father and step-parents are all professional musicians who started influencing her at a very early age. When she turned 7 she was given her first Djembe and was taught traditional west african hand drumming by her world renowned drummer stepmother,Jaqui MacMillan. Jaqui opened up the door for her to play with expert drummers over the next few (link hidden)is lead to her motherBeth Justice putting her on stage with her band, Sweet Justice. Morgan grew to love the stage and by age 9 she had moved from the back of the stage behind the drums, to the front with a microphone in her hands. Her mother from then on trained her in stage performance and singing in a contemporary style. By age 14, she had self- taught herself guitar and started writing her own music. By age 16 she was playing her own shows with a mixture of her originals and popular covers. Her junior year of high school, she met her new choir teacher, ,Melody Raef. Melody trained her for classical competitions and helped prepare her for college. In 2011 Morgan was accepted and attended Berklee College of Music for 4 semesters. She majored in Professional music, specializing in songwriting,music business and performance. Morgan is a very passionate, well-rounded singer and musician that enchantes crowds with her emotion and unique music. She now resides in Richmond, VA finishing her degree,performing, and teaching.

We provide our own sound system and lights. We just need an electrical outlet near the stage and a fair area to play.
