Dr. Taja Mclean is a licensed professional counselor, licensed school counselor and nationally certified counselor from Philadelphia, PA. After losing her mother at a young age, Taja knew that she wanted to work with children and their families. She choose the path of mental health therapy as a way to uplift and encourage youth to find their voice and strive towards a better tomorrow. Taja speaks to educators, mental health professionals, parents and other individuals who work with children about mental health, child mental health issues, parenting skills, self-care and resiliency. Her work in schools and community mental health agencies had allowed her to work and understand how to work with diverse backgrounds of children and their families.
