Donnell is the product of a broken home. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana Donnell has lived in inner city of Seattle, Washington to the a small country town in Plaisance, Louisiana. He uses his own life tragedies and triumphs to inspire others to live above their circumstances. A former high school football star and collegieate athlete, Donnell is living proof that your current situation doesnt have to be your final destination. Born and raised by a single mother, Donnell lived through harsh situations such as drug raids, gun violence, and gang violence. Donny was absolutely amazing. The kids at Evergreen Middle School really bought in to every word he said. He was direct and there was a sincerity about every word he said. My son really took a lot from this speech. We definitely look forward to hearing him speak again!
