I've worked with Chris on several occasions. I was first lucky to have Chris play for a wedding that I organized the music for. He played classical piano for the ceremony, and jazz piano for the cocktail hour. I also got to see him in action as musical director for a large week-long corporate function at The Resort La Cantera where he hired me as a fellow musician for one of several bands that he formed and led. I've also seen him play at other venues throughout the years (even before meeting him). He is one seriously talented musician, singer and organizer. He can perform solo or provide any size band your need, and for any occasion. His 5-star reviews are spot on.

Chris is an amazing performer! He read the room so well with my senior group for our celebration and added such an amazing element to our event. Our residents were raving about his talent long after our event!

Mr downtown was so amazing! He worked with me, and had everything ready to go. There were no issues at all. He even moved from outside where the ceremony was to indoors where cocktail hour was. It may not seem like much, but having to pack up equipment and move it around is not ideal, yet he did it. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a pianist. The music he played was a hit, and I received so many compliments on the music.

We absolutely love having Mr. Downtown's presence at our events. He is gifted, talented and a true professional offering an amazing variety of music. He is the ultimate one-man-band and is THE man for fun live music!!

We hired Chris for our annual company Christmas party and he did an outstanding job! He was able to read the crowd so well and his song choices were perfect. Everyone loved him and he received amazing compliments! We were sad when it was time for him to pack up and leave.

I had an adult birthday party for my goddaughter who turned 53. I wanted an entertainer that would appeal to all ages by playing contemporary music as well as old favorites and Chris delivered and then some. All my guests loved him. He’s super talented and charismatic. He sings great and plays the piano beautifully and he interacts with the crowd throughout. Chris even included a couple of sing alongs that everyone enjoyed participating in. I cannot say enough about Chris as an entertainer but that I will definitely request him for any and all my future parties or gatherings. Chris made my party a Great success and I can’t thank him enough. If you want a high energy fun party, Chris is your guy. Thanks a million Chris!

I coordinate professional events as part of my job and I'm also a photographer and former business owner of a photography studio, flower shop, and photo lab. I've serviced a multitude of weddings (32+ years!) and wanted for my own wedding, to hire a pianist and vocalist who not only fit my style, personality, and budget, but someone with a beautiful voice and exceptional talent. Chris sung the Ave Maria during our ceremony, and it was just goose-bump amazing! Many of our guests commented on how lovely our music was from start to end. Chris was super-easy and chill to work with, and we connected prior to our wedding to review my playlist/favorites and to discuss how we can fit what where. He provided a draft 'order of the ceremony,' which was a tremendous help in outlining what I envisioned for our wedding day. I will hire Chris again for any of our future needs!

When juggling all the items of party planning, it’s nice to deal with people who make it easy and who are super friendly. Chris is both. He is on time and brings everything needed to put on an amazing show. He dresses very well and makes paying him easy with several different payment methods.

As for his music; he is so flexible and can play just about anything. He is VERY talented and has an amazing voice. He captivated our crowed and set the mood very well for the party.

Chris nailed the gig would definitely recommend him to anyone..he came in setup with minimal questions and ran with it . his array of Christmas music and Frank Sinatra blended so well and wasn't over powering so people could hold conversations all in all book this guy..
