I read this as I was sending my sons a video of Steph Curry’s father shooting a three pointer in his suit while his son was warming up for the game. I sent a text to my sons that said, “ I hope someday to make you smile like that son.” Then I read you review and realized that I do make people smile like that. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful community event.

I can not tell you how much Mr. Watson blessed our hearts at my 50th birthday culminating dinner at Geechie’s Southern Style Restaurant in Killeen Texas. He was beyond funny, He was relatable, he was professional, and overall just FUNNNNNNY. I laughed until my make up drained off my face.🤣 He was able to interact with the audience, while integrating his on jokes into his performance. He was clean, family ready, and most of all allowed his faith to shine through while presenting his gift of laughter. Plus he traveled from San Antonio, 2 hours away to provide me and my guest with a great end to a fabulous weekend. Thank you Mr. Watson for healing our soul with the medicine of laughter.

About
Mubota Watson hails from Detroit Michigan. He began his comedy career as a child on the bus with his mother. He would tell jokes and narrate the adventures of his mother. Strangers were so fascinated by his storytelling ability, they would give him quarters. Growing up in Detroit with a special first name, Mubota became very quick witted. Partly because he could not fight well due to the small stature in size. Mubota Watson enlisted in the United States Army in 1996 and retired honorably from active federal services in July 2017. He faithfully served his country 21 years three months and 12 days. Mubota has performed stand-up comedy in Germany, Iraq, Fort Bragg NC, San Antonio TX, Cleveland OH, and Detroit MI.
