Funny Mrs. Saigon

>Mai can wear Vietnamese traditional dress ao dai upon request for Asian theme event.
>Expect to hear her Vietnamese accent as many people advise her not to loose.
>Mai will be at the event at least 1 hour before show starts to set up the stage if you won’t be able to provide equipment.
>If your show is longer than 30 minutes, you may want to break it up by adding extra comedians and Mai can help coordinate that too.

Mai L.G. is a stand-up comedian and mom of four (six if you include her husband and her German Shepherd Dog). With English as her second language Mai provides audiences with a fresh perspective on American life, and a few on mental health topics. Mai took her first comedy class to cope with baby blue and went on to become the winner of the Mizner Park Comedy Festival in Boca Raton, FL in just her very first comedy club performance. From being a former news anchor at a Vietnamese American TV channel in Houston, TX to taking care of children with mental illness, to giving birth on I-95, Mai surely has many funny stories to share. From Southeast Asia to Southeast Florida, Mai’s unexpected style of comedy will hit you with hurricane force.

Mai moved to Florida and is homeschooling her children so her family can frequently take on outdoor adventures to many parts of the country. You can follow her on social media @mailgcomedy

Beside private events, charities, and clubs, Mai has performed in many Florida festivals such as New Orleans Night Market, Orlando Comedy Festival (CF), Cape Coral CF, Fort Meyers CF, Flamingo CF, Brickell CF, Fort Lauderdale Family Fest., World Wild Comedy Contest & Award Fest., Palm Beach Urban Stories Fest., #WeAreTheVote Fest., and venues in Texas and Louisiana.

-Minimum requirement: mic and speaker with decent stage light, not too dark.
-For better experience: Chairs are lined up close to the stage. High stool on stage for comedian’s phone and water.
-For best experience: mic with wire, speaker(s) with stand, spot light, extension cord, stage curtains.
-Mai can bring her own equipment for a small extra fee.
