I like to arrive in plenty of time to confirm the playlist, set everything up and test the waters of the audience. I always make sure I have everything I need and more.
I offer my playing abilities on various instruments, have a great stage presence, and strive to captivate the audience. For your special occasion, I play for you! I have great confidence in my playing and creativity for the unexpected. I believe being positive, professional, and engaging makes for a successful setting.

Born and raised in South Florida, Kandyce started playing the piano at the age of 4, mimicking her older sisters. She shows her love on the piano by playing oldies from the '50s all the way to the new 2000 pop tunes. She was brought up playing classical by piano teachers all the way through college but has always loved the Pop Song Books which she's collected over the years to offer a wide variety of music for her performances, gaining experience with all major genres of music.
She started playing flute in elementary school and added playing the alto sax in the high school jazz band, adding the oboe her senior year in high school in college. The clarinet is a second nature instrument, well versed in flute and oboe and has added to her saxophone collection over the years to include tenor and bari along with the alto.
She stays active playing in local productions and community bands. Is an active Board and playing member of the Pensacola Civic Band since 1989 playing the flute/piccolo, oboe, clarinet, and trumpet and helping in the percussion when needed. She is a founding member of the PCB Flute Choir Hot Mess Express where she plays flute and piccolo. Also, a member of the Pensacola Bay Concert Band playing alto clarinet, tenor sax, and bari sax as well as percussion as needed.
She attended Troy State University on a double performance scholarship for both flute and oboe while continuing her piano studies. She recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management from Florida State College at Jacksonville and is a grad student at the University of West Florida in Public Relations. Her favorite hobby is teaching private music lessons on all woodwinds and brass as well as teaching piano to the young and old.
