All of our murder mysteries are interactive and theme based on various eras from the 1800's to present day - we even tailor the scripts where possible. When guests arrive they are given parts to play (varying from 10-24 dependent on the script) and a prop to get into character such as a hat. The mystery then progresses over dinner (or following a buffet) when at least one murder occurs and guests find clues pre-set in the venue and have a chance to guess whodunit. Professional actors control the event which wraps when our guilty party(parties) are arrested. (Please note that guests do not have to play a part and if they choose can just sit back and enjoy the show. It is totally voluntary.)

If we are hired for a theme party or team building event we work with the client to create the experience they have in mind. We can also perform for children's parties and have done several interactive events for children - without murder on the menu.

Murder Ink Productions is the original mystery company in Arizona and opened in 1989. Since then we have continually produced private and corporate events winning best of entertainment several years in a row and were nominated for the prestigious Zoni award for best overall production of an original script. With several original mystery scripts, 25 professional actors, singers, dancers and writers, we can offer not only interactive mysteries but team building events, theme parties, original scripts and professional look-alikes trained in improvisation. Our goal is to provide the best entertainment available and since we are located here in Arizona, we can assure you that you won't be disappointed which is always a risk when actors have to travel to a location.

We perform mostly in Phoenix, Tucson, Prescott, Sedona and Flagstaff but can travel anywhere in the Southwest with enough notice. Clients include Intel, American Express, Honeywell, Disney Enterprises, Cirque de Soleil, MCA Records and large and small corporations though out the State as well as resorts, destination planners, entertainment companies and private bookings - all too numerous to list here. Our shows are self contained. The only technical requirements are a private place to change if possible and a table for props. If, however, it is a large group professional sound and mics may be required along with some type of staging.
