Our daughter's first birthday party started with a rainy day so we had to change plans and have the party inside at the last minute. You could not tell there was a change given how captivating and fun Corey's performance was. We had about 10 kids ranging from 1 to 12 (most were under 5) and all of the kids and adults LOVED the show. Everyone was up and dancing along. Several people in our neighborhood and some of our family members cannot wait to book Corey for their next parties. He really turned the day around and we all had such a great time. He also made the day all about our daughter including working her name into songs and creating her own dance moves. Although at age 1 she was a bit shy, she was up and dancing and interacting in no time! What a blast!

Corey got all the kids ages ranging from 1-8, up and dancing in no time. They were engaged and loved it.
Corey performed his half hour set for our 2 year old’s birthday party at our local playground. My son loved it as did the other toddlers. He is friendly, fun, and engaging. I definitely recommend Corey.

Mr. Corey entertained and delighted the guests at our son’s 3rd birthday party this past Saturday! He knew exactly how to engage toddlers and their older siblings, using charming jokes, fun and exciting dance songs, and wildly amusing magic tricks! You should expect a high energy, super fun and interactive performance that entertains kids and grown-ups alike. I can do acoustic or full professional sound, and I can often take requests or play to a party theme. I provide the highest level of musicianship and showmanship.
About me: I've been teaching early childhood music classes (ages 0-6) in NYC since 2012 and Hoboken since 2016. Music has been a passion of mine since I was a child. I was in bands in high school, college and then pursued music as a career while waiting tables at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. I eventually became a full time teacher (touring with my rock band Cousin Earth on weekends) until COVID-19. During the pandemic, I wrote the vast majority of my curriculum including songs about animals, shapes, colors, numbers, feelings, food, body parts, and more! I developed a super interactive zoom program that easily translated to an in-person experience. It's also become the focus of charity work as I provide zoom and in-person classes to non-profit programs like Head Start, The KEYS Program, and KiDS NEED MoRE. I now have the pleasure of pursuing my own music program, my own business, and my own career.
My other current projects include a storybook rock opera that was written and performed in 2009, and rebooted in March of 2020 just as the pandemic was taking hold. I also play bass in a video game cover band called Bonus Level.
I can play acoustically which requires virtually nothing from a client, or I can use full sound which requires electricity. I am flexible on technical requirements depending on a client's needs.
