Hey there! I'm a children's musician based in Brooklyn and I absolutely love what I do! My specialty is providing a fun sing-a-long style birthday party for kids ages 1-5. I play the Ukulele and always bring along shakers, scarves, and instruments to every party, not to mention a puppet or two! As the lead Early Childhood Music Teacher at Musicolor Method Park Slope, I have a solid background in musical education and performing. I'm usually available on weekends and some weekdays, so just let me know when you're planning your next party!
Miss Laura performed at our daughter’s first birthday and was by far the most warm and engaging performer we have ever come across! Her voice is beautiful, and she was able to connect with kids across a range of ages, and despite background noise and a party milling about. She really made our daughter feel special on her big day and we will forever be grateful! She arrived early for the performance and was very professional / courteous throughout. Could not recommend more highly!
Miss Laura did a wonderful job with providing some fun tunes for our daughter’s first birthday party. My daughter loved her! She was very engaging and brought her own props to help keep the kids entertained. Miss Laura asked if we would like to include any songs in her play list and was overall very accommodating. I would definitely recommend her to a friend :)
Laura was incredibly responsive, engaging, and kind. She made my daughter’s first birthday incredibly special. Truly, the kids were SO engaged and it was a fun activity for the parents to see such amazing songs. The maracas and other things were a hit with the music. Thanks again!

Miss Laura, besides being a talented individual, was the best musician we worked with for our childrens birthday party. She has incredible energy and kindness in all her interactions with the children (my age group was 2-4 years old), and lots of different props and activities to make a whole session just fly by. Honestly, I feel very lucky to have met her - and can't recommend her enough. She went out of her way to customize some of the programming with. my daughter's favorite songs (Baby shark and Moanna), and it was a hit. A lot of our friends, adults included, just enjoyed the ukele and dancing festivities. Would love to work with her again. Thank you Miss Laura!!!
